Thread: Color, Metal, Advance... Generation VI's nickname?

I was gonna say the Spliced Generation (splicing genes), but Genetic sounds better.

Genetic Generation is okay, but I liked alpha/alphabet generation better

Both are infinitely better than "Axis generation", mind.

Either Axis or Dimension (cause 3D)

Either the Genetic or Helix Generation, though I think I'm leaning more towards Genetic.

Anything but Axis Generation, guys. We don't want to be associated with that.

So its axis vs genetics? Well honestly, I see no reason at all why it couldn't be both. Both theories are equally plausible.

Have you seen the japanese logos? They have DNA's on it.

I'd still like the Axis bit, since I always thought genetics were Gen I's thing, and now it's become even more sad and meaningless..

It's hard to attach any one theme to Generation I. It was more of an introduction to the Pokémon World with tastes of several different themes.

Genesect Generation

I like Axis Generation personally, but that would give it a really bad image considering... ya know, what people normally think of when they hear the word Axis. So, I think I'm agreeing with the whole Genetic Generation thing.

Actually, it was a thing not too long ago with Genesect and Black & White Kyurem.

Odd... if Genesect's true form appears this gen then perhaps I'll have to side with the genetic argument (yeah, the DNA helix shouldn't be ignored) but till then I think both theories could co-exist. They can base a Gen around more than just one theme I think.

Until earlier today, I hadn't linked Axis to the Nazis until someone brought it up in private conversation...Looking at the Japanese logos, yeah, helix there anyway.

Yeah..... When you put it that way, Axis Generation isn't as great sounding as I originally thought....

I guess Genetic Generation sounds good.

I think they should rename Gen IV to the Dimension Generation.

Not that I give the gens nicknames, but I'd call it the algebra generation.

The Zipper Generation (if Z ever comes into play)
