Oak is hardly a poisonous tree, neither is Elm. The only poisonous one is maybe Ivy. No the tradition is just naming after trees, not necessarily poisonous ones.
On a side note, why the heck did they have to put "City" after Rustboro? Why wouldn't Rustboro work by itself? Oldale would have worked VERY well by itself without "Town" or "City" after it. I hate these crappy city names...
I read on TPM that TM39 is going to go from fan-translated Rock Seal or Rock Trap to official Nintendo-translated Rock Tomb, but I cannot confirm this info. If it's real, I like it.
