Thread: How long is Misty going to be leaving

Thanks, TK, but 1. I already know that, and 2. I want to ask about Misty/Kasumi, not Brock/Takeshi ^^;;;

Takeshi went back to change clothes because his 40697433468907346094376 sets of identical Houen clothes just arrived from ACME Clothes Co. There goes his 64020392670196483692068360 Kanto/johto clothes, all into the bin.

I believe Misty will be leaving for the entirety of Pokemon's run through Houen, now before I get flamed, let me explain. Misty and Ash have been the only characters to go through every series of the anime together, and the fact that Misty was removed in somewhat the same vein as Brock... complete with same sex replacement, she'll be gone for the entire advanced Generation. I might be wrong, but that's the Precedent, deal.

If that really is so - and I doubt it is - at least we have Hoso specials.

In fact, the frequency of "Back at the Gym" Hoso specials makes me believe that Haruka is not as popular as all had hoped, and they have to incorporate Misty again somehow.

Come now, I think that the short running time of the Advanced Generation so far means you're judging Haruka prematurely. I think gradually, Misty will fade away in the AG, or it will all come back as you predicted.

Ah, c'mon Muyo! I've seen her, and she reminds me of DBGT's Pan-chan with Pokemon. The only difference is, Pan-chan didn't replace a character, and AG has no Trunks!

Furthermore, she is definitely trying to bump in on Kasumi's territory. She made it quite clear she liked Ash from the word "go," as she manipulated her way into going with Ash on his journey.

Not only that, now she's sorry she did. She's whiny. Every two steps she goes, she's exhausted. She's alway bitchin' about the lack of food. She wusses out around Pokemon that aren't "cute." (And believe me, that encompasses a lot more than just Bug Pokemon.) I think she even wussed out on Zigzagoon, for God's sake! She's basically an annoyance, and that Torchic of hers is always making a disgrace of itself.

*note to self, do not mention anything that would infringe on Mew2too's world where anything that would prevent Misty from coming back must be eliminated*

Ah, c'mon Muyo. I'm not totally crazy - just crazy enough!

Actually, I'll agree. They made Haruka a much better looker than Misty. That didn't have to be so; the animators are just numbshits, that's all.

Furthermore, it's just kind of a known fact that Haruka is not flowin' as well as Misty did. The only thing that is flying well is the fact that Satoshi and Takeshi's characters have improved significantly. TR is much more TRish - like they were in season 1.

It is a nicer show, but Misty was definitely a better character than Haruka. To me, it seems like Haruka-chan is simply a brat Pan-chan ripoff in the Pokemon world.

Haruka's basically a female version of Ash. She doesn't know what she's doing right now, but she'll learn. The only reason she's exhausted with walking is because she was so used to riding around on her now-charred bike.

I think that you're jumping to conclusions a bit early Mew2too, I mean, Haruka hasn't been on the show that long... When I first saw the show I thought Misty was loud, annoying, and excessively negative, but as the show went on, her personality developed. So it's unfair for you to make assumptions on how her character is going to be given so little time to develop. The real fact of the matter is that Brunettes are cuter than redheads, and that's all there is to it *hides from reprisal again*

still, you can't blame Ash and Brock getting mad about having to stop for Haruka. Ash and brock traveled all over Kanto and Johto. Ash also traveled over the Orange Islands. He may of have Lapras, but he definately walked enough. But haruka will get used to it as the season goes on hopefully.

Okay, so Haurka will get over her annoying traits. I still want Misty to come back for season 2. Unless... Unless it should be revealed in the next special that she really does want to stay in Hanada and become a Gym Leader.

I sure hope they don't do that. I desperately want to see Misty back with an improved look to her. I want her back with Ash-tach, I mean. I don't think her looks will get any different until then. I remember hearing that her GL outfit is the same hairdo with a bikini. I wanna see her hair down and some cooler clothes.)

Maybe once her sisters return from their lil' trip, they'll show her how to be a little more feminine.

No matter what you put in the fanart section, I maintain that Violet's prettier.
