Why would it be hard, that's not new. There was a GBA TV turner that played dvds on your gba and a MP3 player out already or on the wayOriginally posted by PokemonTrainerLisa
Yeah, I was kinda wondering how they'd mangage to get all the sound and music from Pokemon, as well as the other shows, through the GBA/GBA-SP....
I like the idea of putting the shows on GBA Carts. at least I'll be able to watch Pokemon when i want to instead of the reruns on cartoon network. OT My local cable company got rid of the local wb station so I cant watch any of the new eps.![]()

The idea is a good one, but I don't think it'll work very well. 4Kids must be crazy if they expect people to pay $10 for a single episode.
And the GBA's graphics capability is pretty good, but I don't see a TV show (animated or not) converting that well. Methinks they'll need to do a little reanimating to get it looking right.
I don't doubt bell02 alpha's claims that there's already a DVD player for the GBA, which is obviously a better option (although I don't know how well it'd work with batteries...)
I thought it said they were gonna have 2 episodes on each cartridge?
They are, for $20, so it's basically saying $10 per episode. I don't think it's worth it though, now that I think about it...It'd get boring watching the same episode over and over, even if it is portable. It's literally charging $2 per minute of viewing.Originally posted by PokemonTrainerLisa

they should make a little gba cart recorder that lets you record tv shows off your tv for portable viewing. each cart should let you record an hour or two and cost about $10-15.
that would be a better idea.

Will these be closed-captioned?
Well, technically you could hook up a dvd player (or game devise) to the GBA's TV-Tuner. IGN had videos of it running on one months back (they showed two movies, and someone playing mario sunshine on the GBA).Originally posted by The Mysterious Blue Hiker

however, if this idea picks up in japan it may be a cool idea more so ('cause their dvds and VHSs cost way too much there ^_^||| ), especially if copanies like bandai pick up this idea.
