    Default Plush in the UK

    Hope this is in the right place...

    ...Where is the best place to buy Pokemon Plush in the United Kingdom? Or does it have to come overseas?

    I really do not know much about it, so I want to make sure that what I am getting is genuine but at the same time, I don't want to be paying £50+ for a single plush like some websites show.

    Any ideas anyone?

    The only way to buy Pokemon Center plushes is to order them online, as they're only sold in Pokemon Centers in Japan.

    I don't live in the UK so I am not sure what stores actually have merchandise, if that's what you mean ^^;

    Tokyo Toys in Trocadero in London has some good stuff sometimes. They've got a website, though what they've got in the shop is much better. If you're lucky you might catch them at a con or something.

    I miss when Woolworths was around, man. They always had cool Pokemon merch.

    even in their last moments, the branded still belong to the dark.

    Forbidden Planet sometimes has a few. Sadly, not many seem to be made here anymore. I remember the days of being able to get those 6" plush of things like Koffing etc, but generally it seems to be Pikachu and the starters that I can find now. There might be more variety among the smaller plush, but I don't know where you could buy them. I haven't seen Pokemon plush in shops for years.

    I use Amazon most of the time, they sell really good stuff sometimes! I trust them more then ebay anyway. You mostly gotta compare looks and such but some are expensive. But sometimes you can find a hidden gem even if it isn't a Pokecenter plush they can still be good quality. I found an awesome Shaymin sky forme plush there for £13!

    Forbidden Planet, as noted above. Also Toymaster and Gamestation.

    Unfortunately, you can't always have it both ways on this one, particularly when it's the Japanese plush you're after. Sometimes you will come across a legitimate great bargain, but always be cautious of anything that seems a little too good to be true.

    There is also Animez in Newcastle-upon-Tyne which is like Tokyo Toys since it sells Pokémon plushies and merchandise of other anime and Japanese video game series (I've been in both stores). They have a website too but I'm not sure if I can post a link to it in this thread. Travelling Man, which is only in Newcastle, York, Leeds and Manchester, sometimes sells Pokémon plushies too. Forbidden Planet International, which is different to Forbidden Planet, also sells Pokémon plushies. Most big cities have either a Forbidden Planet (such as London, Newcastle and Bristol) or a Forbidden Planet International (such as Leeds, Sheffield and Cardiff).

    I thought all Gamestations have become GAME or closed down.

    I had it in my mind that it was the other way round (I recall GAME stores closing left and right last year), but maybe not. Whatever brand name they're using now, in that case.

    I live in East Anglia inbetween North Suffolk and South Norfolk, so there are no nearby places for me. London is a two hour journey alone :)

    Amazon and eBay are your best bets. They are the two places I have gotten all mine from. Usually cheaper sellers there too.
