Have you ever had to decide between two people?
It's a really difficult thing, honestly. I'm in a situation like that now, and I know for a fact is that no matter what decision I make, no one wins. Someone is going to be hurt, I'm sure. I hate having feelings for two different guys. I've always heard "If you like two guys, go for the second one because if you really loved the first guy then there wouldn't be a second" or something of the sort. I've tried weighing pros and cons. Nothing really helps. I hate feeling like this because I don't like hurting people. I feel that everyone deserves happiness.
I'm just so confused. Any advice?

It's a really difficult situation, I know. :-( But I'd say there are several things you can do, like spending more time alone with each of them and see who clicks better. If that doesn't work, I'd say pick the person who you need more.

What do you mean by "the person you need more"? ^^;
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
Well, pretend that if you chose one, the other would leave forever. If you're faced with that situation, who would you want?

Not just that, but also think of it as a non-romantic, I guess "logical" point of view. If you had someone for the rest of your life, it's easy now to not really honestly consider sicknesses, both serious and passive, your responsibilities, what it takes to keep yourself afloat, and stuff like that. You might like someone, but if the two of you don't work together, and truly become a team, it's likely you won't be happy. Pure romance is for teenagers who don't have hardly any real world responsibility. True love and devotion is for a partner who will be there, for better or for worse, through illness and health.

@Scarlet Enchantress;
Here's my advice - If you still can't choose between two people, there's this thing you can try out. Get two pieces of paper for each person A and B. Write down EVERYTHING you can think of about the corresponding person - good points, bad points, experience points. Write down everything until you can't think of anything more. When you're done, choose the person with the longer list cuz that would mean you care more about him to know more. Of course, it won't mean that you don't care about the other person, but still - it will give you a view from where you can think more logically.
...or not. The best is to choose whoever your heart belongs to.
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
There is no right answer, we don't know the future and you won't know either of these boys romantically until you try.
Use your intuition. It doesn't have to be rationalized. It doesn't even have to be the right choice.
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
I'd tell you to go with the one you think about the most. It's really a simple way to find who you care about the most.
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
If you're stuck between two people, always go for the second because if you really liked/loved the first one there wouldn't be a second to choose from. :l
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
I've been into this situation before, and I'm still am. It's still difficult to choose because you're not sure if they love you back.
Re: Have you ever had to decide between two people?
You shouldn't have to choose between two people, because you can only TRULY be in love with one person.
So technically you're just crushing, so just decide.

Call me silly, but I don't think there is only one soul mate (or what have you) for each person. I think love is more complicated than that, and there could be multiple 'true loves' for any given person. I'm not advocating polygamy, I just believe that there is more than one chance at love in a person's life.

True love is very rare.. but if you find it, then you will never feel that same feeling with anyone else.
Yes you can like or be attracted to more than one person, but to actually feel the true feeling of love (which I am feeling with someone so I know).. I can't believe you can feel it with anyone else.

I'm not sure I understand the comparison you're trying to make here. Mind elaborating?
