College or No College, that is the question
Many people will agree that after High School, College is the next best step, and yet, i've yet to enroll in one. It'll be exactly three years since my High School Graduation this June and i'm still not enrolled in a college. I want to be a writer/novelist and to do that, i'll need a college degree. My mother has... something that i can't name off the top of my head, due to her retirement, that will allow me to enroll in any college in California, but i've yet to actually pick one.
It's not like i haven't tried to find a university, i have, but i've still yet to actually settle on one, i haven't even tried for almost a year now. Most people pick out a college during High School and attend it almost immediately after graduation, but as i've said already, it's been almost three years for me. The longer i wait, the more embarrassing it will be to attend a college (it's for the young after all). I'm told that i need to take an SAT, but when i tried to take a practice on my computer, the disc i was using didn't work and i haven't even bothered to look into it since then.
My mother, sister and brother have all graduated from college (at least i think so) and they're all much older than me. So i ask you, am i lost cause?
