ya sure.. Ev Training is a better method of training pokemon, this way you can increase certain stats of pokemon so for example i can have a charizard which is better than an average charizard, because it has been trained specially in Attack and speed.

@gamehat: you battle certain pokemon that give you extra EV's in certain things. For ex. if you battle a wild pikachu, you will get 2 speed ev's. it depends, it can take from 1 day to a week to 2 weeks!
