Well... I decided to apply to moderate this forum. Wish me luck! I really hope my minimal amount of posts doesn't weigh heavily in the decision. I've had a couple threads go long, but I deleted them when I was through with them, thus deleting all of my posts within them. Not a very smart decision on my part... but at least it reduced clutter a bit, haha.

Is it just me, or was the trading forums way more lively and active 8 months ago? Now it seems like a ghost town, and that kind of makes me sad.

It could be because of school, or work or whatnot. As much as I know everyone is busy. This could be the off season, since, if I'm correct, eight months ago was summer.

Also there's the chance that people have traded for everything they want/need in BW and aren't interested in trading right now--it has been out a year or so now. I'd expect it to pick back up later, or whenever there's some new DW stuff to collect and stuff like that. It's always gone through quiet phases from what I've seen.

Though, like Blitzle said, I think it's because people don't have many, if any, wants right now (myself included). But rest assured, the Trading Station always springs back to life once new blood (Pokemon) are announced :)

I can't give away my Pokemon in globe trade

I got ditched when I was interested in Magikarp for crying out loud.

This seemed to be the most relevant place to post this, if I am wrong let me know. Anyway. I posted an Uxei to the GTS for an Entei level 11+. A min or two later after using the search function, I went to look back it my Uxei to double check the level selected. I disconnected instead. Reconnected and was greeted with a pokeball falling from the sky much to my surprise and curiosity. The ball opened and out poped... Magikarp? Wat. I opened up my PC to take a look at it. Swift Swim. Arrived from Johto at level 1. Splash.

So then...

What just happened to me?

Were your DNS settings still set to any sort of fake GTS (if you've used one) perhaps?

Nope, no fake GTS or DNS settings played with in the last few months. I had pulled out a Nidoqueen which was traded for a Smeargal of mine before posting the Uxei.

There's no other obvious (in my mind) place to ask this, so I guess I'll ask here, even though I feel noobish for having to ask:

When someone says they have a flawless ditto, what does that mean? Does it have all IVs maxed or something?

What i bolded is exactly what it means :P It has a 31 in every IV Stat.
