    8.7/8.9 quake off Indonesia. Tsunami watch for entire Indian Ocean.

    Tsunami warning issued across whole Indian Ocean, including Australia, Pakistan, Madagascar, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, Thailand, Maldives and others.

    Wow I am so glad I might be going to Malaysia next year and not this one, (I think it would be a place affected?) Although I do live in Australia so still sounds bad, I hope nothing happens though and the Earthquake didn't cause too much damage.

    There were only small tsunamis, thankfully.

    Also, this disproves that 188 day theory. It definitely hasn't been 188 days since the Mexico or Japan quake.

    Yeah, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has cancelled its own alert. Thankfully, the people on the ground did an excellent job of relying the information, and people were able to move to safety quickly.
