Tonight just makes me glad I don't live in the Baltimore area anymore. There are depressed baseball fans all OVER the Beltway, with the Nats' loss as well.
Anyway, here's what we have to look forward to in this coming week:
ALCS: Tigers vs. Yankees
NLCS: Giants vs. Cardinals
Hey, we could have a repeat of 2006 in the World Series! (Except, of course, with the Tigers winning! :ksmile:)

Edit: I hate that the Yankees had to win, I was really hoping the Orioles would go on to the ALCS.

Impressive home runs from David Freese and Carlos Beltran and an amazing steel from Pete Kozma!
Jeter hasn't really been doing that much in the postseason so far though, iirc. I mean, I'm very confident about the Tigers' chances, we have one of the best teams we've had in years, but I don't think the absence of Jeter will make or break the Yankees.Quote:
