Okay seriously, this was worringly similar to the Valencia match, but this time Swansea took their chances. Back to relying on individual talent and whacking it out wide instead of that neat through-the-middle play from earlier pre-season games. Biggest concern is how easily the defence was pulled out of shape, both with and without wingbacks.

I suppose I should be happy about England winning the 5th test inside 3 days (3-1 series win), but honestly there's not much to celebrate given the absolute shower India have become in the last three tests. Makes it harder to judge England's players, Ali & Jordan in particular. I will say this much however - Anderson is going to be a big miss when he retires.

The best thing the BCCI could do - apart from firing Srinivasan into orbit - is to look at how the Windies have turned things around recently after their lean Test spell. That is, if they want to fix this problem instead of pandering to the money-spinning T20 franchises. Do the BCCI have the courage to give up a significant amount of domestic money to send young internationals abroad so they learn how to play on foreign pitches? Kohli in particular has been a massive disappointment; I'm sure the ODI/T20 excellence is still there, but 13.4 is a shocking average.

Oh, and Dhoni is still talking about "the process" in his post-match interview. The best part is he that he can't be sacked because there's no-one even remotely capable enough to replace him!

West Indies are still bad. BCCI sent a team for tour matches in Australia.

WI are still bad, but they were horrible a few years ago. They're a bit further along the line in finding a balance between test and limited overs cricket, which is the problem India are facing right now.

I don't really pay much attention to cricket unless Ireland are involved.

Legendary skateboarder Jay Adams died, he was one of the founding fathers of the modern skateboarding scene, turning it from urban surfing to a unique sport in its own right.

    - LOsing to MK Dons 4-0 -> this didn't actually happen. Really. We're just baiting everyone else by making it look like we're playing badly.

It's looking likely that Cleverley & Kagawa will be added to that list. Welbeck moving or not is still up in the air, but I'd hope if Hernandez leaves, Welbeck will stay and vice versa. Fellaini dodges the chop by virtue of an ankle injury ... bah. Get well in time for January!

Still in need of at least two "quality" signings. AdM is a great player that covers one of the three missing areas, but it's the least important of them (centre midfield, centre back, winger in that order).
