So, I live right by Fort Bragg, and the news on TV said five soldiers died in just this past week. Four in Afghanistan, one in a motorcycle wreck. It makes me all the more glad that my uncle, who is in the Air Force and stationed in South Carolina, got back from Afghanistan safely. But still, it's like our beloved Fort Bragg is cursed right now.

It's really a great place, much better than other US military bases I've been to. I hope they can recover from this soon. Although, the wreck was really the dead guy's fault since they say alcohol and speeding was involved. On top of that, the guy collided with an AMBULANCE. I think I heard them say that the ambulance was taking someone to the hospital too! That's just really really terrible and careless of this guy. I'm not saying he deserved to die, but he was being an idiot.

But whatever the case, Bragg has my hopes that they can cope.
