Thread: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ ENDGAME (Town and Independents Win!) ~

ATTENTION, DUELISTS!

At sunrise, rays of light cut through the haze of uncertainty that night had left. Hesitation, doubt… such things were unnecessary for one who had now lost everything.

Immediately after the incident with Thomas, the fiery Gauche accused one of the quieter members of being responsible, lashing out, “You thought you could just shut up and be let to do as you please, huh? You seemed like a nice enough kid, but the games end now.”

The gentle Fuya was completely taken by surprise at the outburst, left at a loss for words. When he finally did speak, it amounted to little more than mumbles easily attackable by Gauche, who was soon joined by Ryoga and a green-haired man with mismatched eyes.

“I swear, I would never have done anything to anyone,” Fuya pleaded, a sense of dread pressing closer. “I’ve only been quiet because I was afraid to speak up…”

“…He’s right, you know,” somebody interjected, with a voice even younger than the blue-haired boy’s. “Our rat is not this boy.”

A blonde child slowly began walking toward the arguing group as the others watched. Close behind came some of those who were ready to support his coming accusation, consisting of Johan Andersen, Fubuki Tenjouin, and Edo Phoenix.

“Actually, I think we know… who has been leaking information from us,” Johan informed the others, “and it’s him.” He pointed at Dartz, who was still trying to incriminate Fuya. “He lied to us.”

All eyes focused on the last king of Atlantis. In a matter of seconds, he was surrounded. Stepping forward, Byron closed in on the traitor. In a low whisper he uttered to him, “You of all people should’ve understood what you were causing for everyone. You had a daughter, didn’t you? Then how – “

“It was because of her that I…” He turned away, abandoning his sentence. “You don’t know what they’re capable of, the duel spirits who turned us against each other.”

“Take us to them,” Gauche demanded, ready for a fight. “We’ll find out just what they’re capable of first-hand.”

The group was led by Dartz in an eerie silence, walking toward an uncertain fate.

You are the last king of Atlantis, the most advanced civilization on the planet. However, you became corrupted by the power of Orichalcos, leading you to gather millions of souls in order to revive the Great Leviathan, in the hopes of transforming the planet into the image of the lost Atlantis. Eventually, you sacrificed yourself to bring back the Great Leviation, but Dark Yugi allowed your soul to be reunited with that of your family members.

With the power to gather souls, you have the ability to silence a player every night phase by temporarily stealing their soul. PM with the title “Night X Silence – USER” to use this ability. The targeted player will be unable to speak in-thread, PM, or use QT.

You are allied with MAFIA. You win when mafia equals or outnumbers the amount of town members.

Elysion was lynched. She was Dartz, allied with MAFIA.

Upon arrival, the duelists were greeted with the sight of some of the most fearsome duel monsters to exist; Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Malefic Paradox Dragon… It would be a tough fight, but at this point, there was no turning back. Against spirits, the rules were different. Here, the duelists would lead a joint attack at once, in the hopes of exploiting weaknesses.

Edo led the attack, ready to finally serve justice upon those who led to such atrocities. D-Hero Dogma Guy flew forth at the spirits.

A professional duelists with many victories under your belt in the Pro Leagues, you are a multi-talented prodigy with a strong, unshakeable sense of justice. After your father was murdered, you devoted yourself to learning the identity of his killer. The idea of destiny is very important to you, and as such, you duel with a deck comprised of D-Heroes, and search for the D-Hero card that went missing upon your father’s death. Despite the tragedy the you endured as a child, you uphold a polite exterior.

The extreme desire to find your father’s murderer fuels you, allowing you the powers of a vigilante. Choose a side carefully, and help that side attain victory through your two vig-kills. During a night phase, PM me with “Night X Vig Kill – USER” to kill that player.

With your massive popularity and ability to charm, you are able to be a reporter. Every night phase, you can send a PM with the title “Night X - Report,” and in the body of that PM, type anything you would like to be included in the following phase’s update text. It will be anonymous. If there is anything included in your text that is not allowed, I will inform you to allow for changes.

A skilled duelist who uses a water-attribute deck, you used to be a bully at Yuma’s school. However, after teaming up with Yuma during a tag duel, you gradually became less cold-hearted to the point that you are now a loyal friend to Yuma. In the past, you were disqualified from the National Duel Circuit for looking at your opponent’s deck, but this was all a set-up to lead you to the World Duel Carnival. Though you hated IV for the horrific injuries he seemingly caused your sister to endure, you have since let go of that hate. Notably, you are one of only two duelists to possess a Chaos Number.

As a result of being lied to and having your memories tampered with before, you desire to always know the truth, being a lie detector. Twice in the game, during a night phase, send a PM with the title “Night X Detector,” with a statement in the body of the PM. You will be told if that statement is/was true or false.

One of those present had no particular feelings toward the enemy, other than a desire to defeat them to save himself. Thought Ruler Archfiend was his means of insuring his own safety.

A leader of the Arcadia Movement, you are a powerful psychic duelist who was Aki’s mentor. However, in reality, you are a cruel individual, and a person who allowed Misty’s little brother to die when it was determined that he had no psychic ability. Though Aki completely trusted you, once your true colors were revealed, your plans came to a screeching halt. Your psychic powers allow you to render cards as real, physical objects to be used at your disposal.

With your psychic powers, you are able to forcibly change one players vote every day phase. Though their vote will remain the same in-thread, when vote calculations are taken, it will be counted as whatever you designated. During the day phase, send a PM with the title “Vote Change: USER to X,” followed by who you would like to change their vote to.

Before meeting Yuma, you struggled with balancing your TV role and your true personality, but have since become more confident in yourself. Though you had been a participant in the World Duel Carnival, you were eliminated in the preliminaries by Gauche, but not before displaying a more comfortable demeanor in public.

With the different airs you give off in your ESPer Robin persona, you are able to trick others in an effort to save yourself. Thus, you have the passive ability of being lynch-proof one time only. This will take effect automatically if the situation arises.

A close friend of Judai’s, you are a Duel Academia student who is originally from North Academy. Much like Judai, you have the ability to see duel spirits, and you think of your Gem Beasts as family. Unfortunately, you become possessed by Yubel in an alternate dimension, causing much anguish for Judai. Eventually, you are freed from Yubel’s grasp, and return during Judai’s fourth year to provide him support. You have a very optimistic personality, and are easy to get along with.

With a multitude of Gem Beasts, you can send one of your duel spirits to travel to a target, bringing back a clue of their identity. During a night phase, send a PM with the title “Night X Identify – USER” to receive a clue as to the role of that player, but not their alignment. This can be used every night phase.

A representation of Aporia’s adult life, you are from a devastated future, working with Yliaster to rewrite history.

After abandoning that position to actually enter the World Duel Carnival, you made it to the finals before being defeated by Yuma. However, your fiery spirit and passion for Duel Monsters served to reinvigorate Yuma in preparation for his upcoming matches. Fitting your powerful personality, you duel using a Heroic deck.

With your chivalrous nature, you can attempt to save a player that you deem innocent, shifting a lynch to a different player. In effect, you are a lynch redirector. Once in the game during a day phase, you may send a PM with the title “Redirect to USER,” changing the lynch target to the specified user, regardless of vote counts.

As Number 69: God Medallion – Coat of Arms delivered the final blow to the enemy, Byron’s face remained downcast, knowing that no matter what he did, it couldn’t change what had already been done to his sons. Even still, he felt a sense of relief as the last of their opponents dissipated into the air, avenging their deaths.

The father of III, IV, and V, you are a researcher who was betrayed by Dr. Faker. Though you were sent to the Barian World, you were able to return, albeit in the body of a child with memories of your family gradually disappearing. Thus, you possessed an intense desire for revenge, using your own family as tools to accomplish such. However, even after being consumed with hatred, Yuma was able to make you see the error to your ways, causing you to undergo a change of heart, eventually saving and forgiving your former archenemy, Dr. Faker. Though some vestiges of your life as Byron remain in your personality, you often behave in a manner that befits your current child-like appearance. You duel using a Heraldic Beast deck.

No matter how many times you seem to disappear, you have a way of returning, giving you the powers of a restless spirit. Even if you are killed, you will still be able to post once in-thread every phase, which can include a vote. You cannot, however, communicate through PMs or QT, nor will you count in the amount of townies remaining.

In addition, you have an ability that can be activated every night phase before dying, giving you some form of influence over another player. Send a PM with the title “Night X Memory – USER” to send that user an anonymous message. They will not be informed who sent it, and it can contain whatever you choose as long as it falls under the rules. This can be done every night.

Any votes you cast toward a member of the Arclight family (regardless of alignment) will not count.

Human has won the game! He was Tron/Byron Arclight, allied with TOWN.

Much as had happened to Ryo nights before, the surroundings of the duelists began to blur in a strange sensation. As this horrid place they’d found themselves in faded from sight more and more, a new destination appeared in its stead, coming in different varieties for the various duelists. No matter what they saw individually, one thing quickly became apparent: they were going home at last.

It would be a difficult journey back, after all that had happened and with all those who were unable to return, but the sight of familiar locations was a welcome one… albeit one more welcome if it could be enjoyed with those who had perished. Everyone was returned to their proper places and times. The end had come.

As Byron walked into the all-consuming darkness that pervaded his house, he was met by three smiling faces.

Congratulations to the Town , Sputnik, and Greece! They have emerged victorious!
