The cop probably doesn't trust anyone at this point. If they did, we would have results.

By the way guys, Rio claimed to be the miller to me, and yet she's asking for a cop check to 'clear her'.

It's Carly reporting that she wants to be with superstar Jack Atlas. It's obvious enough for us who watched the series.
