Why the commute, or why of my condition?

You have to admire Rio's persistence, even if it only hurt her more.

Both

Well, the condition says I can't post for two straight phases after I commute.
And the reason for my commuting... well, I can't say I had one. I just wanted to test it. Believe it or not, I can be as stupid as that.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
Or that could be an excuse for being inactive mafia...

I'm confused. What do you mean by commuting?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
Commute means that I literally "go away for the night" Thereby, being inmune to all night actions and kills, with the downside that I can't communicate.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
Doesn't that mean leaving town for a night or even a couple of phases to prevent themselves from getting killed? I think that's how a commuter works.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
It's usually a night but it shouldn't effect someone's posting, at least not that I've seen.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
I don't like referring to another game, but if I recall correctly, in the BKMN mafia, there was a commuter role where the player couldn't would be gone for the following day, and I believe they wouldn't be able to post, but I'm not sure(I know they couldn't communicate via pm though if they commuted).
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
All the commuter roles I've seen have just been disappearing for the night and being immune to actions when using the role
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! All-Stars Mafia ~ Night 4 (Tribute Doll) ~ 11/9
A silenced commuter is plausible, the host could include such a restriction for flavor reasons - after all, the concept of a commuter is that they actually, "leave town," so it would make sense for them to not be able to participate in discussion until they return.
It should be noted that while Commuter is almost exclusively a Town-aligned role, it's also pretty easy to fake-claim: It's relatively uncommon, thus unlikely to be counter-claimed, and helps a mafioso explain why they aren't nightkilled.

Yeah but commuters leave for one phase not two.

Um, what? Commuter can be 1-shot, 2-shot, all odd-number nights, all even-number nights, or anything else the Host wants.
