A middle-aged woman sat on a cliff that overlooked the vast expanse of an ocean. Waves endlessly crashed against the rock, and a memory began to surface in the woman's mind...
It was twelve years ago, on the fateful day that her husband left her side to serve his country. He boarded the ship, loudly proclaiming his love for her and waving, even as the ship set sail. The woman stood on the shore long after the ship was gone, suddenly crushed with the realization that she wouldn't see him for four years. She put aside her feelings of loss and loneliness and tried her best to carry on.
Every week, she received a letter, sometimes accompanied by a picture. The tales they told were not only of military life, but of the beauty of the world beyond their small town. The days passed by slowly, and the woman watched as various family members grew up or grew old. A few died. It took a lot of patience and perseverance, but eventually the hard times were replaced by better days.
Finally, the day arrived. A ship pulled into the harbor, identical to the one that the woman had first seen four years ago. Many sailors of various ranks ran to their waiting families. Her husband returned to her as well, looking a little older, but still the caring man he was before.
She looked down at her hands as tears rolled down her face. Today was exactly eight years since her husband's return, and about three years since his sudden death. She lost everything in the end. She was no longer in her prime or in the best of health, and the love of her life was long-gone. Was anything worth living for anymore?
The woman shook her head and stood, turning away from the ocean. As she approached her town, the troubles that they'd been facing lately came to the forefront of her mind. Wolves. Witches. Death. Nothing reassuring, but she did try to appear forthright and assess the situation. She wasn't surprised to see that no actual progress had been made.
No one disappeared that day.
It is now NIGHT 3. This phase will end at 10PM EST on 11/22. Have a happy Thanksgiving to everyone that is celebrating.

It had been a relatively peaceful night. A chilly breeze blanketed the town in their first snowfall of the winter. A teenage girl stood by her window, staring outside. It hadn't been the most enjoyable of holidays for her, and after a fight with her sister, she was facing another sleepless night. The girl simply sat there, consumed with bitterness. She looked up to see a lone shadow flit past the streetlight. It was too small and too fast to be human. She stood up, grabbing her house key and winter jacket. After putting on boots, she ventured outside.
There was only a light dusting of snow, but it was already bone-chilling. As the girl approached the streetlight, something shiny caught her eye. She cautiously moved into the light to see something lying on the ground nearby. There had obviously been a recent struggle here - red patches and indents in the snow made the scene appear even more ominous. She snatched the item off the ground. It was a driver's license, torn and laying in a small puddle of blood. The only part of the name the girl could distinguish was "Elysion".
Elysion has vanished. She is no longer in the game.
The girl dropped the ID. She stood up and began to back away before breaking into a run. But she could not run fast enough to save herself. Suddenly, she felt a crushing pain in her chest. A swipe of her hand revealed that a weapon of some sort was lodged there. An arrow, maybe? The girl collapsed to the ground and everything began to turn black. She couldn't perceive any sort of escape. The last thing she heard was a cackle, but the source was unclear.
The next morning, police were mystified to find that two more people were gone, without a trace.
Rio Kamishiro has vanished. She is no longer in the game.
It is now DAY 4. This phase will end at 10PM EST on 11/24/12.

Well, I do find odd how both Rio Mij were killed. It could give ground to both Kidbeano is mafia and Kidbeano isn't mafia theories.

Well, obviously, Mij was eaten. But Rio and elysion were killed, in different manners. I still think Rio was killed for a reason.
If Kidbeano is town, then the mafia killed Rio in ordr to prive us from a clrear town member.
If Kidbeano is mafia, then He had made a wild guess based on Mijs claim and killed Rio in order to appear innocent.
Of course, if Kid's claim is true, then the wereeolf could eat him at any moment now.
And of course, the second theory is only true if we consider that Soulmaster is lying. But that would mean that most probably the ral sherrif and cop helper are dead, which is plausible, but unlikely.

That's interesting - only two people died. That shouldn't happen - if the mafia had pierced there should have been four deaths (the three kills and the sacrifice), surely? Unless Elysion and Rio were a self-protecting Doctor and a mafia-investigating Marshal, and the Mafia no-killed. Or, Rio was a Bomb and picked Elysion as his target, but then the flavour text doesn't imply that at all, and the description implies the flavour text will reflect the bomb.
God I hate this no-reveal thing ;_;
Also, I checked Soulmaster and Master Mew - both have the same alignment. I was kind of hoping I'd find opposite sides, but ah well. However, I did realise Soulmaster could possibly be mafia fakeclaiming Informant, and that would then imply Master Mew is mafia as well. However, that would be a huge punt, as FA would have had to have been Informant, and the Bookkeeper found that out. So, I'm going to go with them being town.

Since nobody was lynched in the 3rd Day Phase, I'm thinking that it was the executioner's doing of killing Elysion and that the Mafia decided to kill Rio Kamishiro.

Oh, derp, how did I miss that. I'd definitely go with this.
However, this, unfortunately, makes me think the Doctor is dead. I don't know why the mafia would attempt a non-piercing kill on Rio with the thought that the Doctor could still be alive, so it must have been FA or Andrea. That, or this mafia are quite ballsy and the Doctor's inactive/not paying attention/as equally ballsy and tried to WIFOM.

The Doctor would have to choose to protect either you, for being the uncounterclaimed Sheriff or Rio if they were still alive. Knowing your ability, they might have thought that it would have been better to try to at least protect you.
