Clans Vs. The Dark Forest



Disclaimer:

1. You DO NOT have to be familiar with Warriors to play, though I hope it does get you interested in the series :3

2. If you're a Warriors fan, then perhaps I may be opening you up to spoilers if you haven't read anything past Fading Echoes. If you wish to participate, you'll be playing at your own risk. But I can say however, some of the roles were re-tailored into my own brand of fannon based on events yet to happen, so don't treat these actions overly serious or anything like that. And just because you know what a cat is based on in the books doesn't make that entirely true here ;3


The Story So Far:

Welcome warrior. I am Rock, caretaker of lost souls. I am neither bound by this world or the next. I watch over all who dwell and I will continue to keep watch for generations to come.

You, however, have come at a most troubling time.

I have watched over this humble lake for a long time, watching cats grow together and then drift apart until they left and were no more. But recently descendants of those cats have come back to start life anew. But it was not so easy as starting over. A rift between heaven and hell, the boundaries between StarClan and the Dark Forest are fading.

What’s more is that a very unruly cat has taken charge of the Dark Forest and is tearing it’s bowels at the seams, preparing to unleash a might that will ruin the very essence of what these cats are bound by, destroying heaven and earth. They wish to rule over and establish a foul order that reserves judgment for warriors pure of blood and abolish cats descended of mixed virtue. Are what these cats uphold right? Their faction will bring end to countless lives and extinguish many memories, I can’t do a thing but sit and watch.

But I have seen three cats spoken from a prophecy woven into the fabric of an existence parallel to my own. They were chosen to wield a might as powerful as the stars. Could they be the ones to quell the rising tide of the minions of darkness?

For it is they, and the better judgment of their clans who may bring about their own peace. I see troublesome times for their ancestors of the sky, those they call StarClan, but they must work among the cats of the living to successfully bring down this chaos from the dark. Not all is well, many cats are not on good terms. The clans fight and bicker with one another. Being driven apart, they will succeed in bringing mistrust. The Dark Forest may win yet.

Can the three do it? Only time will tell who can win this battle.

Vengeance of the Fallen

Not so long ago in a pretty large forest behind some farms
Four Clans were entering into a period of chaos.

Seeds of war were being sown across the different clan factions beside the lake. Turmoil and unrest besieged the cats for nearly a year with constant border arguments.

Numerous peace dealings were offered, but were quickly shattered under flared tensions from dwindling resources.

Deep in the shadows, deceased cats thrown to the Dark Forest are rising up from their squalor. They seek to escape the pittance of the unsanctimonious bowels of this torturous zone and stake new claims to the land StarClan claims as their own.

The forces of the Dark Forest are constantly increasing in number
To begin their conquest, they first seek to overthrow the balance of the clans. Using this period of unrest, they continue to drive the Clans further apart with needless battles.

StarClan, the spiritual ancestor guides of the living, called forth immediate action to quell the rising tide of the Dark Forest uprising.They split the clans and have directed the battles to be waged from within.

Among the clans were three cats secretly chosen by ancient prophecy to lead a rebellion against the Dark Forest uprising.

They are young, but quickly learning the ways of the Forest. Powerful they are in the ways of the Forest, upon them they were granted special abilities to seek allies and root out their foe. They are the living clan's remaining hope and they're slowly organizing their forces.

Their battle has been hard fought so far, but now they continue their battle within their own ranks of ThunderClan hoping to end the Dark Forest once and for all.

Rules

1. I will modkill for three things
   
   • Role revealing
     I am fine with role claims, but unless your role specifies, please under no circumstance reveal who your role is based off of.
   • Inactivity
     Obviously if you’ve got something going on, you should put that first. Real life is more important. Just let me know ahead of time if you know you’re going to be inactive for a bit. Otherwise, I’d like everyone to participate. At the minimum I’ll expect at least one response in this thread every 5 days. Otherwise I will substitute you without warning.
   • Poor Sportsmanship and Conduct
     This should be fairly self explanatory. Aside from Quick Topic, please try to stay within the confines of the forums to conduct your business. I don’t want to see people sneaking around each other in real life just to play a silly game. Also, we can get pretty serious in here, but if you start to act like a real jerk, I can easily push you out of the game as well. So play nice, because I know we can ;3
   
   
   
2. I will refer to lynches as hunts, they’re essentially synonymous for this game.
   
3. Please PM me all your discussions, and this means everybody. Innocents too.
   
   To include more than one person in a PM, make sure you go to ‘Go Advanced’ and add the extra names in address fields if you weren’t aware how to do this before.
   
4. Votes are similar to Mijzelffan’s voting system.
   
   Please format your votes in bold like such:
   Vote: [user]
   When you wish to retract a vote simply say
   Unvote: [user]
   
   A tie will result in no kill that day.
   
5. Phases will last 24 hours long.
   
6. I plan to end every phase at 10PM EST, [3AM GMT]

8. Wise cracks and final quotes from the dead are fine, just don't make a habit of posting after you're gone please.

A quick tutorial for new folks.

In mafia there are two opposing sides, the town and the mafia. The town are usually unaware of each other while the mafia work together to covertly kill the town. It is up to the town to work to take down the mafia before the mafia outnumbers them.

If the town eradicates all mafia members, the town wins. If the mafia outnumbers the town, the mafia wins.

Every day phase, all members are allowed to vote a person to lynch. At the end of the day, the person with the most votes is ‘killed’ or removed from play. In the event of a tie, no players are killed. After this, we enter night phase. During the night, mafia choose who they kill. Some innocents have a role that allows them night actions as well. Standard roles include the Doctor which protects people from dying, and the Cop which is able to determine alliances. These are very valuable members for the innocents. Please use your night actions wisely. Sometimes using them have consequences. Sometimes your roles work better if used with other roles.

Communicate well, and you stand a better chance of winning. This goes for both sides.

Depending on how fast this fills, I may have room for overflow.
