Without absolute certainty that Joltik was town, Mijz was under no obligation to defend her. However, that said, I don't think that keeping quiet and letting Joltik get lynched was the right (or town) thing to do, because "She was a lost cause" is a pretty poor (and scummy) excuse.

WHY? Why are you people, after two town deaths, still going No Lynch? Is this some sort of attempt at saving Mijzelffan? No lynches are going to get us nowhere. Look at the slow start Warriors Mafia got because no one was getting lynched. On day 1? Okay, I can get behind someone not dying because of tied votes or something, but to be voting No Lynch on Day 2? After we've already had two town deaths and accusations are flying everywhere? You have to have something more than that.

I actually asked Soulmaster to start an alliance with me since we worked pretty well together in some other games. I don't know if he's mafia or not, but it looks like he believes my claim seeing how he's defending me. Then again, why wouldn't he believe my claim?

Anyway, time for the second Mijzelffan to die, and hopefully to go out with a blast.

So the consensus was reached, and the person who had the temporary identity that is Mijzelffan was lynched.

"Ugh, dammit, you'll regret this---"

With a flash, leaving behind a slight cloud of dust-like particles, Mijzelffan disappeared from the realm.

Just as players were about to debate the results of this lynch, one of the remaining players suddenly clenched her head.

"AUUUUUUUUUUUGH!"

The player collapsed to the ground. her hands never left her head, and she was rolling on the ground in pain.

"This headache, AUGH! WHY?"

...it was all according to what the realm had to do.
Or more like...what it was asked to do.

Standing outside the boundaries of the realm for the mafia game, 'Iteru' - yeah, that's Mijzelffan - activated his power. He has been waiting for this very moment.

The realm was draining brainwaves from this person. The person knew it. She was about to be 'kicked out' of the realm.



BOOM!

With a small explosion... The person who was wearing the mask of Greece, she disappeared from the realm without a trace.

One of the first veterans, you’ve contributed to activities inside the realm of The War Room for a long time. You’ve always loved strategic games, and even served as a moderator during the hardest times. You have a good sense of humor and you express jokes with an easy attitude (but I’m not a fan of that dreaded thread you made in my Fan Club). However you can be a threat in mafia games, and this time you’re going to let those New Age members learn it.

Your brainwaves can penetrate into both the realm’s ‘mind’ and a certain target at the same time. Using this skill, upon your death, you can trick the realm to also kick out a target out of the mafia game along with yourself.

However, the realm resists, to an extent, such brainwaves that could get rid of a player. Thus you cannot select a certain target to kill upon your death. When you are lynched, your role will randomly target a player among those that voted for you. When you are targeted with an action that kills a target, the killer will be targeted with this ability. When the New Age’s nightly kill targets you and you die as a result, one of the New Age members (selected randomly) will die.

You are allied with the Veterans (Town). You win when your team succeeds in eradicating all of the New Age (Mafia) players before they reach conditions they cannot lose.

Assist the New Age. Take memories required to learn the secrets behind the usage of brain waves to manipulate space, and possibly, minds.
You have shown excellent skills in hosting; being able to maintain a stable sub-realm for your games however many roles are activated. You have naturally developed an ability to recognize brain waves that are not used for voting, and evaluate them. Evaluating them would give valuable information about what this target is capable of.

Each night, you can check a player to see what action/ability the target has. Send a message “Check: [player]” during a Night phase. If the target has more than one action/ability, you will obtain information on only one of them. You will still be able to sense that the target might be capable of something else however.

You are allied with the New Age (Mafia). You win if your team equals the Veterans (Town) in terms of number.

'Iteru' smiled in triumph as he watched 'Hitomi' being flung out of the realm's boundary and into The War Room.

"Yes! Now I just need to remove her memories regarding her activities as a New Age member, and my role is done."

New Age members showed an invisible expression of lament, frustration, and surprise.

But too soon to draw conclusions. For there was still a long way to go...

Mijzelffan was lynched. He was 'Iteru', a Veteran.
Due to his bombing ability, Greece was killed. He was 'Hitomi', a member of the New Age.

IT IS NOW NIGHT 2.

o_O Whoa, I didn't know Greece WAS a mafia!

And boom goes the dynamite.

Now fair point to Ryuu that another no lynch would probably be quite detrimental... And it did kind of work out pretty well that he was lynched... Okay, maybe I should listen to Ryuutakeshi more.
