I do dislike who you took the game into speedy mode. It's unfair to some of the player who can't get here, and some days the majority of votes can change from one player to another. The last phase was a mere four and a half hours, and not may people were able to be active in thread, or on the forum. That could have given the town a win, or at least let us have more discussion. The Idea of a phase taking 24 hours is to allow fro everyone to have a chance at being active. A four and a half hour phase doesn't.
