With four players remaining the game is currently in MYLO (mislynch and lose). With only one mafioso left, the game will end at the end of this phase whether Pokemaster97 is Mafia or not. I can't end the game prematurely, though, for what I feel to be pretty obvious reasons - what if the Town is lynching wrong? It would be a disservice to the Town to end the game early if there is any chance that they have chosen the wrong lynch target and might change their mind before the update.

And if they're right? Then it would be a disservice to the Mafia to end the Phase prematurely if they might have had a chance to change the Town's mind.

In other words, the game will not end early as a matter of principle - doing so would mean either unfairly costing the Town the game, or prematurely confirming the lynch target.

You don't have to sit on your hands, though, people - you can still discuss things and consider every possibility. In fact, that would be the logical thing to do when given 24 additional hours to discuss the final lynch.

tl;dr The game is not in auto-win. If it were, it would already be over.

I feel like the Mentors have a better grasp on your individual play than I do, so this will take the place of ratings.

Thanks again to everyone for playing! I plan on doing the next Newbie Game a little differently, with two Mentors playing in the game with you to teach by example rather than having a Mentor for each individual player, but let me know how you feel this format worked out!

Here is what little DQ and myself did. Mainly me talking but not really with advice, much to my disappointment. But yeah I'd say you did a good job from what I saw and remember, DQ.

I had a lot of fun mentoring @Zima; and I hope she enjoyed the game as much as I did! I just wish I had more time. xD

It was a great experience because I got to give advice and help someone else on something that I love to do.

I hope more mentors post their quicktopics because this game was designed so players can learn from one another. I would really like to see how the other mentors advised their newbies because I think I can learn a lot from how the other mentors approached their newbies, and which concepts they chose to teach them.

The way I approached being a mentor was to stay as general as possible because I didn't want to "play the game for her." I gave her advice as she posted in thread, and tried to be as helpful as I could without tell her what to do, exactly. The best teachers tend to guide you to the answer, rather than just tell you the answer.

Overall I had fun, and Zima was fun to work with.

Can't say there's much to see there, LOL.

@**Derpy.McDerpy**, I think you did decent for a new player. I kind of wish we'd had some better communication for sure, but hopefully you had fun and may intend to join future mafia games.

And Master Mew, this was a very good idea for a game and was well-executed. It's nice to see different kinds of games like this, especially if they can get new players to join The War Room. XD
