Police cars were racing down the street as a young man desperately yelled into his walkie-talkie in one of them.

"Can you hear me? Are you still there?"

"...zzzztt - Little Guy - "

"Ma'am!"

"...zzt...head... ov...er..t..o...zzzt....the...ho.s...pit..al...now..."

"Alright - on to the hospital! Step on it!"

"Sir, yes, sir!"

This was no high speed chase, yet the cars with red sirens were driving like mad.

"Please be safe - please!"

"Little Guy! Head over to the hospital now." A woman said calmly into her walkie-talkie. After she heard confirmation from her partner, she heard a crash from a nearby office.

A doctor was sprawled on the ground with injuries.

"Doctor! Are you alright?" The woman urgently approached the doctor.

"I'll see what I can do about you - what happened?"

"Th - there - " The doctor coughed and pointed.

A small shadow was sitting on the edge of the window, but soon jumped out and ran away at the sight of the woman.

"Little Guy! There's a suspicious figure on the run!" She yelled into her walkie-talkie.

"Should I ch...ase the...m right aw..ay?" came a faint response.

"Don't! We don't know what they've got. There's more important things to do here. Let's meet up at the lab."

"Roger!"

The woman approached the doctor and helped them up.

"You're lucky I got here on time. Let's go get the treatment you need."

No one was banished.

A hospital door opened and a nurse appeared, double-checking her operation kit.

"Stabilizers, scalpels, bandages..."

"Are you ready?"

The nurse was greeted by a doctor near the hospital entrance. She nodded firmly.

"Yes, doctor!"

"Let's do this - I won't let people die!"

The doctors were steadily going on their business, but they didn't talk much.

Even the patients were whispering.

Now, all they had to do was wait....

Large vehicles surrounded a huge flower field of red and orange.

All eyes were on the center of the flower field, which had an odd color variation of blue.

Behind an ambulance, four people were whispering.

"Doctor - is this the only way? Is it?" A nurse asked with teary eyes. "Isn't there a way to cure?"

"Maybe if we are extra careful, we might be able to extract the virus out of the body?" A doctor added clutching his operation gloves. "We came this far - but we can't even do anything?"

SageGaga, you are...



Angie Thompson, a nurse with a collected mind and strong determination. Your father was forced to work for a criminal syndicate called Delphi in exchange for your life. However, before he left, he gave you the necessary medicine to overcome hardships.

You have resistance to Neo-GUILT viruses. In other words, you will not be infected with Neo-GUILT.

Your partner is Derek Stiles. You must find him and accompany him. Once you two recognize each other, Derek will receive an upgrade.

Dr. Derek Stiles, a talented doctor possessing the Healing Touch which enables you to perform miraculous surgeries. Viruses are spreading everywhere, and the patients are counting on you for the cure they need.

You have the ability to cure two kinds of Viruses: GUILT and Neo-GUILT.

During the Day Phase, send "Cure [Player]" to cure them of infection. You will receive a note the following Night if you targeted correctly.

Feel that your ability is incomplete? Search for your assistant, Angie Thompson. Angie will provide you an upgrade once you two recognize each other.



You are allied with the Doctors. Exterminate all the Viruses to win.


PARTNER EVENT:
You are the best doctor and nurse out there - you have saved multiple lives and people rely on your exceptional skills and Healing Touch for successful operations.

Angie's assist has given Derek an upgrade:

You now have the power to cure ANY VIRUS - even TWISTED ROSALIA, anytime you want. However, you can only use it ONCE within 3 phases.

Send "Cure [player]" to use your special cure.

"Dr. Vaughn left numerous documents on his research on STIGMA." Another nurse said sadly. "Markus told me that once a virus infects someone - and finds the body suitable, then they adapt so that neither can live if one dies."

Elena Salazar, a nurse that is willing to help in any situation, no matter how horrible it may be. You had been ill as a child, but a doctor cured you, and you wanted to be a nurse ever since. After your doctor cured you, you gained immunity.


You have resistance to STIGMA viruses. In other words, you will not be infected with STIGMA.

The doctor who saved you when you were a child is Markus Vaughn. You must find him and accompany him. Once you two recognize each other, Markus will receive an upgrade.


You are a Citizen. Help the Doctors and exterminate all the Viruses to win.

"Cure won't work." Another doctor said firmly. "I've examined the charts of the other virus hosts so far. You remember what happened to Patrick Mercer, Derek. Curing him only ended up killing him."

Mintaka, you are...




Dr. Gabe Cunningham, a diagnostician. Your job is to look for symptoms and diagnose the patient with an illness for future cure. Sometimes, there are troublesome patients who argue they are perfectly fine. But why are they at the hospital if they are fine? Well - time to start the diagnosis.

You have the ability to scan for potential patients. Send "Scan [Player]" to see if they are infected. You will receive a symptom the next phase if you correctly targeted a patient, but you will not know about the virus itself.


Feel that your ability isn't sufficient? Then look for your assistant, RONI. RONI will provide you an upgrade once you two recognize each other.


Note that your ability works both Day and Night. However, you may only Scan ONE PLAYER per phase.

"Then what happened to my father?" Angie asked. "He was infected with GUILT, but he somehow died even without a surgery."

"The virus we're catching now is the reason." Gabe said. "CR-SO1 left us a note on a certain girl named Rosalia. She has the ROSALIA virus, and it functions as a powerful cure. If your father had been infected with ROSALIA, then he might've been cured of GUILT, resulting in his death."

"The source of the virus is a little girl?" Elena asked, stunned. "How did she end up in such - ?"

"We don't know." Derek said. "But one thing for sure is that if we don't get rid of the virus - if we don't get rid of her..."

He couldn't end his sentence.

From a distance, two people were talking, hidden behind a large police car.

"Are you sure it's okay?" One of them, a man, asked.

"I see corpses all day." The other person, a woman, said calmly. "One more won't bother me. Besides... this is probably the only way to get rid of the virus once and for all. I'm counting on you, Little Guy."

"Understood." The man confirmed and moved over behind another car. In one hand, he was holding up a gun.

Soulmaster, you are...




Navel, a special investigator working with the FBI. Cool and calm, you have your wits and intelligence that will guide you along with your partner. You have once worked with a criminal syndicate called Delphi, which develops viruses. However, due to the danger that lurks there, they gave you special medicine that granted you immunity.

You have resistance to GUILT viruses. In other words, you will not be infected with GUILT.


Your partner is Naomi Kimishima. You must find her. Under agreement, she will share you her ability. Also, a special ability will be unlocked once you two recognize each other.


You are a Citizen. Help the Doctors and exterminate all the Viruses to win.


Neon Borealis, you are...




Dr. Naomi Kimishima, a forensics officer. You used to be a doctor with the Healing Touch to perform miraculous surgeries, but a disease stole it away. While you cannot cure people, you acquired an odd ability that can receive help from the dead instead.

People call you The Corpse Whisperer.

You have the ability to listen to the dead's final words.
Every time someone dies, their final logs before death will be automatically sent to you.
However, DIRECT SCREENSHOTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN PUBLIC. If you feel the need to tell people, tell them with your own words.

However, you may share your logs from dead people as screenshots with your assistant, and ONLY your assistant.

So who is your assistant? It's Navel. Once you recognize your assistant, a special ability will be unlocked.


Due to your special condition, ANOTHER event will take place especially for you once the moment presents itself.


You are allied with the Doctors. Exterminate all the Viruses to win.


HIDDEN ABILITY ACTIVATED:
Your adoptive daughter Alyssa has died. The grief has temporarily raised your determination.
You now have the ability to cure the ROSALIA virus.


EDIT: Due to ROSALIA now being known as TWISTED ROSALIA, you can cure TWISTED ROSALIA as well.

Send "Cure [Player]" during the NIGHT phase to cure a potential patient. You will receive a message the following Day if you targeted correctly
However, this is only temporary. You can only use your Cure 3 times. After you used your Cure, then you will return to your initial state.





PARTNER EVENT:
You are both officers working with the law enforcement - the FBI. While your jobs are to help people - your other jobs are to catch criminals.

A [Gun] has been presented to you two from the chief. However, there is only one bullet.
If you would like to use it, Send "Kill [player]" any time you would like. Any of you two can send it.

You must use it within the next 3 phases, or the chief will take it back.

The flowers bustled. Naomi and Navel carefully approached the moving flowers.

Suddenly, a shadow emerged from the field, knocking over Navel. The gun fell from his hand. The shadow then started to run away.

A figure of a ghostly young girl was desperately trying to get out of the scene.

Naomi picked up the gun and fired it without hesitation. The young girl dropped to the ground.

"Ms Kimishima - " Navel started, but Naomi shook her head and walked over to the girl instead.

"Doctor..." The girl weeped as she clutched the flowers surrounding her. "I have...cure..in my... blood..."

"You do, Rosalia. I've read your father's notes." Naomi said. "But it cannot be used - a waste of potential."

"My brother..." Rosalia cried as her sobbing became weaker.

"He tried to find a way to free you from this disease." Naomi whispered. "However...it seems this is the only way to free you. I'm sorry, Rosalia."

The young girl nodded with understanding in her eyes... and her breathing slowed down to a stop.

Human, you are...




Rosalia Rossellini, the natural host of the ROSALIA virus. ROSALIA can work as a very powerful cure, with fatal side effects. Your adoptive father was a doctor who wanted to make good use of the cure... but he never found a way to get rid of the side effects.


You have the ability to infect other humans - both doctors and citizens. You can infect up to 7 times.

At Night, send "Infect [Player]". Infection lasts for 3 phases.

Infection phases: Night(infection PM sent) - Day - Night - Day (Death Announcement)

Due to ROSALIA having cure powers, anyone who is already infected with another virus will be rid of it and be infected with ROSALIA.
During the 3 phases of infection, you cannot infect anyone else until the victim is "free of illness".However...remember that infections could fail. Time your infection right, and keep track on patients. Failing to infect someone will not count as used, but if the victims are cured before death, then your infection will count..

Certain doctors will be able to cure you - but the virus being part of your body, you will die when you are cured.

You are allied with Viruses. Eliminate all the Doctors to win. Killing Citizens will not affect your win.


HIDDEN ABILITY ACTIVATED:
This can only happen if you kill either Naomi Kimishima, or CR-SO1 with your infection.


ROSALIA is now known as TWISTED ROSALIA

EFFECT: you can now choose to infect during the Day phase. Infection period stays the same.

Human was killed.

As the ambulance carried the girl's body away, Naomi noticed that the flowers that surrounded Rosalia when had also turned blue.

Monarch butterflies fluttered around the blue flowers until they took off, decorating the sky with golden glitters.

I was genuinely happy that you were interested in the game, and survived the longest out of all the viruses. Despite your unfortunate killing of a fellow virus on the very first phase, you did not falter and went on to infect people and tried persuading other users to ally with you - actively interacting with others.

I think highly of you for your activity and hard work.

I did say that beginners were welcome, but after you said you would play, you barely did anything. No posts, no action. I ended up mod-killing you for inactivity. You did mention about your internet getting broke, but still - I would've liked to see anything from you.

Your actions were above average. You interacted with other players, and tried to find your partner relatively early on. Also, your interest in this game made me happy as you asked questions and posted regularly, which I would like to thank you for.

I ended up mod-killing you for inactivity, but what made me disappointed was that you did not show any interest in this game at all. You kept saying you were confused with the game, and said you didn't know what's going on. You didn't interact with other players, or ask me any questions on how to play. Your ability was immunity to every virus, so it should have enabled you to freely interact with anyone without worrying about being a target, yet you did not use it to your advantage.

You did show activity - but not just quite enough. It would've been much better if you had interacted with other players. Still, you did try to get the doctors to cure you by posting you needed a cure - which was the main point of your ability. You had chances to survive since you knew about your infection, so asking for what you needed was a good move, in my opinion.

You hadn't had much to do during the early course of the game, yet you had been posting with regular activity. Half-way through the game, you started interacting with other people and used your role to find your partner, and finally used the partner event to secure the doctors' victory. You had been keeping up well with the game.

OVERALL:
I would like to thank everyone for playing this game. Not many people had played TRAUMA CENTER and was unfamiliar with the series, and this is also my first time hosting a game in The War Room. I was inexperienced, yet you had patiently followed my rules and played till the end. The only issue I have is the somewhat lack of activity, and I am still somewhat suspicious that some of you may not have sent me logs of your private actions. Still, everyone had done a great job.


As for virus holders showing symptoms - yes, because they are already infected people.


If you have any suggestions or any reviews you would like to make, I would greatly appreciate them.

Ugh, I had 3 doctors left to kill out of 6 and there were only 4 viruses? That's a bit unbalanced IMO. Still, I enjoyed the game. Thanks for hosting it DB. It was a shame that there wasn't that much activity.
