In silence, a solitary Pokémon swooped down upon the Vale -- the cohort of last night's murderess, this creature had nothing on his mind apart from the kill he was going to make. His target was completely unaware of this Pokémon's presence in the Vale, but it was hardly going to make a difference. For one thing, the victim was unprepared for anything -- locked up in his own residence, he was undergoing a change. What with all the Pokémon gathering every day, he was losing control over his illusory powers. All that his surrogate father, Slowbro, had taught him, was slowly slipping away. He remembered Slowbro fondly -- it was not that the old creature was dead, certainly, but Slowbro had drawn into seclusion at the death of Gallade. He had begged his only 'child', as such, to follow with him, but this particular child denied, thinking it his duty to try and help the Vale.

It was a mistake for Zoroark to have ever left his father's side, as only that night would prove. Since the killer couldn't utilise their particular powers to bring down Zoroark, which was much his preferred method of murdering, he simply -- and boldly -- broke into Zoroark's living place. The morphing creature couldn't do a thing as the mafioso bore down upon him, and, without even much of a fight, he was lying flat on the ground. His true identity revealed itself as the illusion fell away, never to return in any form.

At dawn, it was known to everyone that Zoroark was dead. A keening noise came from very far away -- Slowbro, the only family Zoroark had ever known, had received news of the tragedy. He decided that, even after the strife was over, his home was no longer in the Vale.

The day of Zoroark's death was the day that Slowbro left town.

Incredibly rare even in your native region, one can only begin to guess how a Pokémon of your species ended up in eastern Kanto, which is where the Vale is located. You don’t remember much of your earlier years, as you were, of course, extremely young. Whenever someone is curious enough to ask you about the memories you have, all you can recall is a smiling human’s face, and a bright light. Having appeared in the Vale numerous years ago, you are well-known, and you’re apparently impossible not to like. When you first arrived in the Vale, your cute face and puzzling background endeared you to many, and a kindly old Slowbro took you in as his surrogate son. Although not bright, you and him developed a strong relationship, until you regarded him as the father you never did have. He also helped you progress with your own unique powers, for those of your species were skilled with illusions, and it came to the point where your gift was spinning out of control -- every day you’d appear as a different Pokémon. Slowbro put you back on the right track. When Gallade was killed, your ‘father’ implored you to follow him into seclusion, but you wanted to help the Vale and protect the Pokémon who had cared for you.

You do not have any ability outside of your Pokémon Ability except for your vote and your voice: use them wisely. Your Pokémon Ability is ILLUSION. At the beginning of every day phase, you will randomly take on the form of any living player, including yourself. You will obtain their type for that day phase and the night phase that follows it, and you have a 20% chance of obtaining their role’s ability for those two phases whenever you transform into another player. For example, if you transformed into a Venusaur at the beginning of Day 2, you would gain the Grass- and Poison-type for all of Day 2 and Night 2, and there’s a chance you could gain their ability for both of those phases (N.B. This is just an example. I’m not confirming or denying the presence of a Venusaur role in the game). If you obtain their ability, however, they will be unable to use it for that phase. You will not be told the species of the Pokémon you turn into -- only their type and ability (if you take on one). Your first transformation will take place on Night 1.
You are sided with THE VALE, and your aim is to ELIMINATE ALL THREATS TO THE TOWN.

Very good observation. If there is an innocent roleblocker, could they maybe claim who they roleblocked? Inb4 too afraid to claim: Innocent roleblockers suck anyway, so if anything there is actually less chance you'll get nightkilled after you claim.
