That, too. But mostly what I said above. People can make of it what they want.
EDIT: After talking with Paper for a bit... Unvote: Paperhorse
Vote: Hawkeye
As flimsy as the reasoning behind this might be in my opinion, it's still more than, eh, nothing.

a) Why're you defending him? He's perfectly capable of defending himself. Ulterior motive, perhaps?
I wanted to tell her incase he was too busy to come back on and tell her himself. Geez, saying that I have ulterior motives for a perfectly harmless thing that I did makes you look paranoid : P.

As the first day of what Gardevoir hoped would be a change was coming to a close, she called most of the babble to a silence -- all that today had brought about was mainly a lot of self-identification. Nobody had came to a conclusion about what to do as such, and Gardevoir simply stood there for a few moments, surveying them all with sad eyes, clouded by what looked suspiciously like tears to some of the congregation. As the last two voices simmered down enough for her to be heard clearly over them, she cleared her throat, preparing to talk.
"Has anybody here come to a conclusion on the day?" she asked wearily.
Only one spoke up. "I felt like it would be good to put pressure on someone for information, and I did negotiate with this someone. As such, I and this other Pokémon have come to the conclusion that Tangrowth should be put to death."
Somewhere near the back of the congregation, somebody gasped. All eyes turned to Tangrowth, who was meekly looking around himself. A mess of blue vines, he raised a clumsy hand to where his mouth would have been. Tears welled up in his eyes almost immediately at the realisation that he was about to die: everything he'd achieved in his life was to be taken away from him simply because of a Pokémon or two.
"S-surely you're not s-serious?" Tangrowth stuttered. "B-but I h-haven't even d-done anything! There's n-no reason!"
His protests fell upon deaf ears. Once the name had been declared, it was as if by magic that everybody had turned against him. Restraining the bulky creature -- which was a hard task, due to his sheer size and power -- and bringing him up to Gardevoir, the inhabitants of the Vale plead for him to be killed.
"Do what you will," said Gardevoir, although the words broke her heart. Tangrowth looked up to her with disbelieving eyes. Why was nobody helping him? He was truly innocent! "Let it be known, however, that I am not responsible for this."
With that, Gardevoir turned and flickered into nothingness. Her teleportation would make sure she did not have to witness the killing of yet another Pokémon she knew was benevolent.
Tangrowth was put to death shortly after the Mayor's departure.

Dear Hawkeye, you are TANGROWTH.
The only life you knew up until you entered the Vale was being the Pokémon of a Team Rocket grunt. At first, you didn’t see how bad the organisation really was, but then you witnessed first-hand what they did to the other Pokémon who weren’t being trained. You also saw how other humans -- other Trainers -- came along whenever Team Rocket was getting a little too big for their boots, to fight them and foil their plans. Your own trainer was a man who the other men called ‘Plucky’, although what sort of name that was, you had no idea. You were forced to endure defeat after defeat as stronger Trainers challenged your Trainer; in time, you grew stronger, too, evolving and actually seeming to turn the tides whenever the benevolent Trainers came along, although you despised having to be the bad one. One could only lose so many battles without becoming frustrated at their Pokémon, however, so you were released eventually. You, convinced there were no bad Pokémon and only bad Trainers, turned your back on humanity and moved around the region for the next few years, living off whatever natural sustenance you could find. On a trip out from the Vale, one of the bird Pokémon that lived there saw you, and he offered you a place in the Vale to stay with him. You, thinking that a life in the Vale would be better than moving constantly in the wilderness, accepted.
In the Vale, your natural strength and imposing stature suggested that you’d be good as security at different events that took place there. Up until now, security wasn’t actually necessary, as there never was much trouble, but you had taken it on anyway. As a result, once every night phase, you can use BLOCK to protect a user; in doing so, though, you also roleblock them. You can’t use this ability on yourself. To use this ability, PM me with, “NIGHT X: Protect [USER].” Your Pokémon Ability is CHLOROPHYLL: if you want to make a vote, but that would cause a tie in the votes, your vote will instead count as two neutral votes in order to break that tie.
You are sided with THE VALE, and your aim is to ELIMINATE ALL THREATS TO THE TOWN.
Hawkeye has been lynched. He was allied with THE VALE.

It is now Night 1.
You may send in any night actions you have.
The next phase update will be on 17TH SEPTEMBER, 2012 at 8/9PM GMT.
Although Day 1 is a random voting day you voted someone and got the doctor lynched. While some people say Day 1 should be taken seriously as well - around that time we were all type claiming to get the minimum clues to get started.
So in short - what made you persistent in voting someone on Day 1?
I used the word 'persistent' because you voted Paperhorse first and then switched votes, not unvote.
