This is Star Trek, which has nothing to do with Hetalia, so can we kindly discuss it and not Hetalia.

I am pretty sure that being friends does not matter when playing mafia. We all kill each other and have a good laugh later.

So FoS Belarus and Russia. Either you're not playing the game right by making alliances every time, you're masons, or you're scumbuddies. Or two of the three.

I can promise you I don't make alliances with people I don't trust, especially a few hours into the first phase.

I do find it strange that she defends me every time we play. It's as if she knows I'm gonna fall for it when she's mafia, and I'm not. Little does she know; I actually think before I make alliances with other players.

It is day one - votes don't mean much, anyway, so scum could definitely vote their own this phase.

Scumbuddies very often vote for their scumbuddies on day one. That way, they can say "but I voted for him/her!" later when that person flips mafia.

I wouldn't make it so damn obvious if we were scumbuddies. I may be horrid at being mafia, but I'm not that stupid. Especially when it would most likely cause both of our deaths.

I understand your reasoning, but...no. I'm innocent. Russia. could be mafia, for all I know, but I'm innocent.

I personally don't think that Belarus. or Russia. seem all that suspicious to me. It just seems to be their "schtick" they do.

And on account of the friendship thing.

You can't really say the same thing when you haven't had anyone you could really call your friend, someone you can trust without a thought, someone you aren't always awkward with, for over three dang years. Friendship is damn important to me, and... v.v;

the point of mafias is to beat the other side.

If your best friend is mafia and you are town, your duty to your town team is to lynch them.

Russia. could be mafia, for all I know, but I'm innocent.

So if you're unsure if you can trust someone, don't. Simple as that. You can't protect your best friend if they're secretly conspiring with people who want to kill you. Groundlessly protecting someone on day one when you don't know their alignment is foolish and makes you look scummy.
