Thread: The Situation Room - Talk about the games or anything!

What I was conveying (well failing to convey is more like it) is not that trying to balance a game is a hopeless or impossible endeavor, more that at some point I have to tell my perfectionism to shut the hell up xD

@Luminosity; A better way to put it is, I just want my game to be as balanced as possible, which will probably be difficult. :3

Some roles will just turn out good, some might not either due to luck (RNG) or etc. Testing would be the only way to know. Small games are good for that, because you can test stuff without worrying about other mechanics at the same time, or having to deal with a lot of role actions.

Very true. I prefer smaller games as a player and I can already tell that I'll prefer smaller games as a host. Eventually I feel like I just want a game to end. It's not the fault of anyone else though; it's because I spend a lot of time thinking about a game and I eventually burn myself out xD

And now any game/TV show/movie/etc. that I think of mafiazing, I'll think of how to post a phase update in the style of one of the characters. Which I'm sure has been thought of before, but it never occurred to me until now.

Hello everyone.

After a brief spell in The War Room some month or so ago before all of my academic commitments were quite over with I have returned. I've played Mafia with friends online quite a bit before and I even have a non-Mafia game that I've played with friends a couple of times that I think people here would enjoy. (I'd like to play a few games and get a bit used to the community here before I do that though.)

Yep, I'm in LoZ Mafia at the moment, but it's still getting started. I'm also in Armies, which is an interesting non-Mafia game. That one, although having started, is still in the slow stages of the game. I'm currently waiting for both of them to heat up.

Remember to have fun, and don't be afraid to make a move when you believe it's worth it. ;)
...uh, maybe, be careful though. XD

I quite like Armies, even though not too much has happened so far
