Why I silenced only Russia. (or whatever her current username is) is because her troll votes were preventing the mafia from lynching anyone. Almost every other player was inactive, so with her vote, almost every phase ends with a tie. We needed to get players out as soon as possible, so silencing Russia. seemed like the best bet.Silencer: When there are two pretty-much-confirmed clears, silencing neither of them is a bad mistake :3
Meh, good game. I wish I'd remembered about it, though, Flonne wasn't exactly discreet as mafia D:
And for why I didn't silence you, you weren't much of a threat to us during most of the second half of the game. :)
The phases in JCA 3 only lasted 24 hours and it wasn't that much of a problem.

It would be nice if 48 hour day phases could be implemented successfully here though. >;3

I prefer 24 hours, personally. :/ 48 just seems like too long, and most of the time, the votes are resolved and the game ready to be updated into the night phase by 24 hours.
At least, from the games I've played.
I'd like to see a game here where the phases go on as long as they need to.
Endermen can't go through doors stupid, it's not ghosts or fire.

I honestly thought about making them a week long at first since over there at mafiascum they can last up to three weeks, but I settled for 72 hours long day phases since the voting system is different than the one we use here. As soon as there is a majority of votes on someone, the player is lynched, even if people unvote afterward.

we could try using a priority system just like smogon does. those playing fewer games get more chances to play as they're more likely to stay active. I mean, in an NOC game, the last thing you want to do is keep subbing people out.

I much prefer shorter games. I suppose it's because when I originally played way before Bulba, usually Day was 24 hours, and Night ended as soon as flawor and such was written. Mafia would thus make all of their actions during day as well, but they only came into play during the night phase. So basically, a full cycle is 24 hours, which makes keeping the tempo of the game high enough to not have much inactivity.
From that, moving to 96 hour cycles made the game way too slow for me, though now it seems we usually have 48 hour ones, which I'm fine with.
