You finally show up Soulmaster...I figure we should all just claim at this point. I am a 1x vig who targeted Ryoga last phase. I think either the mafia chose the same target as I did, or they didn't put in a kill. I was tricked by Atomic a couple phases back, where she she claimed lie detector to me and bussed Akuraito since Akuraito was going to die anyway since she targeted the bomb(FA).

The drought was insane.

Water was drying up everywhere, and people were soon wondering what would happen to the region.


A young boy opened his badge case. He still needed two more.

He tracked down the muscular figure he met at Mt. Pyre, who was on Mossdeep City, paying his respect at the empty gym.

The boy approached him from behind, not bothering to keep his footsteps quiet. The guy turned and saw who it was.

"You...!"

Too late. A giant creature slashed at the guy.

Brawly

"A big wave in fighting"

You are the Gym Leader of Dewford Gym, and a specialist in Fighting-type Pokémon. Despite your usage of brute force in battle, you have deep thoughts, and love to make tricky challenges for exciting battles. As a surfer, you also love comparing life on waves.

Fighting-type pokemon are capable in offense, and are often used as sweeping killers. Combined with your keen senses, once during the game, you can select someone to kill. Send Kill: [player] to use your action.

You are aligned with the Hoenn League. Eliminate the Weather Trio to win.

Yata - Brawly, gym leader of Dewford Gym - was lynched

The boy heard that Scott had made his home on Ever Grande, where the Pokemon League was.

That was his next stop. However, the boy needed one more gym badge to get access to the League.

While he could just force his way through... he didn't want anyone to stop him for stupid reasons.


The last gym leader was asked to protect Scott, and was waiting on the entrance to the League in case the killer appeared. It was rumored to be a young boy. And there was one who just got through Victory Road.

The young boy knew who the last gym leader was.

But he couldn't bring himself to kill him.

He just couldn't.

Norman

"A man in pursuit of power!"

You are the Gym Leader of Petalburg Gym, and a specialist of Normal-type Pokémon.

You're family moved from Johto when you were appointed as a Hoenn Gym Leader. While you like giving advice, you prefer to let children learn on their own so they can grow independently.

Like how Normal-types do not have any advantage over other types, you are Vanilla. However, you still have your vote, which will prove to be very important.


You are aligned with the Hoenn League. Eliminate the Weather Trio to win.

Soulmaster - Norman, gym leader of Petalburg Gym - has lost the game

The realization that the killer was his own son had shocked the gym leader. No matter how good his reflexes were, he helplessly let a large blow send him flying away from the entrance.

The boy moved his father's unconscious body to a safe place and took the last gym badge.

Nobody would stop him now.


Scott was taken care of, and his body was disposed on the Battle Frontier.

Hoenn was now free.



The young boy had been promised ultimate power as a trainer if he completed his mission.

It was his win.

Ruby

A newbie trainer from Johto, and the son of a gym leader. However, you have your own powers, and is already an accomplished battler.

You have the power to awaken Groudon, and bring blinding sunlight to the area. People won't notice what you did due to the harsh sunlight. Once during the game, you can steal votes and give yourself a vote power-up. Send Vote Steal: [player] and [player] to take away their votes. You will become a one-time triple voter. This will be reset when the following day phase is over.

You are aligned with the Weather Trio. Tie the number with the Hoenn League to win.

Buoy - Ruby, summoner of Groudon - has won the game!

I'll admit, I'm kind of shocked that Yata was Town, though. Y U SO SCUMMY?

1. Makings of the game

This had been intended to be a large game - with both Team Magma and Team Aqua in it. However, I didn't want to go through all the "Let there be more land!" story as it would make the game tedious. And the whole Weather Trio plot. So instead, I took out the villains and made this a small game, having the children be the mafia.

2. The truth about alignment

After people signed up, I went and sent out the roles.

And it wasn't until a few days later that I discovered I made the stupidest mistake in the world

... I had sent out the roles accordingly in the order of the sign-up.


The moment I realized it, I added Mt. Pyre for a separate list for dead roles and mixed up the living players line-up as well. While I don't know how many people check the front page whenever there's an update... even though I banned nameclaiming, I had to do something in case someone guessed XDD

I really apologize for any inconvenience it might've caused in the game.

3x Corpse Whisperer (I haven't found an official name for this role, so I used the name I had given in the Trauma Center non-mafia)

As this was a small game, most of the roles had limited usages and I had included some new roles/returning roles from my past games.

*Postponed bomb - never used it before, and I wanted to see how the killer uses their last phase efficiently
*Corpse Whisperer - returned from the Trauma Center non-mafia. This role is given the final private logs of the dead player in phase updates. It was intended for making guesses on who the dead player was talking to. However... maybe I should reconsider this role's usage in the future as it seems hard to utilize.
*Vote Stealer - overpowered if looked at a certain perspective, but it does give all the more reason the given player has to survive till the end.

4. Scott and the Frontier Brains

This event was to activate as soon as both Champions were dead... and it really did activate early.
Players were visited by the Frontier Brains by random - and if there were more than seven players alive, then some wouldn't have gotten a visit.

If the phase results with nobody dying, or with a player who didn't have a Frontier Brain visit dying - everyone visited with by the Brain gets a power-up.
If the phase results with someone targeted for a kill/lynch - the Frontier Brain dies instead, and the player is deprived of the role. Everyone else remains neutral.

Atomic has used up her roles by that time she was saved from the lynch - so her vote was taken instead.

5. Overall game comment

As this had been a small game with few conversations and debates, I don't think I'll be able to give proper ratings. There are players who hadn't been able to use their role, and there are players who had been killed off early. Some of you had been inactive and active where I had trouble deciding to sub out or not.

However, this had been a game where I could learn about my mistakes, and hosting problems. The balance in the roles had been in the mafias favor, and maybe the event hadn't been necessary. This was a good opportunity for me to learn.

This game was memorable to me with fun parts XDD. Most epic moment was when the mafia learned about the Postponed bomb, and Sputnik accidentally unvoting which resulted in her death. I hope all of you had a good time in this game.


Town: With only a few of you being active, cooperation was difficult, and sadly resulted in mislynches and miskills. Still, I thank all of you for participating.

Mafia: Relatively active discussion. Honorable mention goes to Buoy who had been left as the last mafia halfway through the game, and gained his win at the last moment. Again, I thank all of you for participating.

7. Advertisement

I've got another large mafia game coming up soon XDD And it's going to be based in Sinnoh!!
