That they did. If jokool hadn't killed me, then that could have hurt the town since they had no idea, he had good sense as did whoever else was with him at that time. And they did good with making an alliance and quickly weeding out who our remaining members were.
I was actually really lucky that I got a chance to kill you.... You see, I tried to kill Buoy, but fortunately for me, the mafia got to him first, so I got a second chance to vig kill. I'm glad my second choice worked out better... :sweatlol:

After hosting GSC - HGSS mafia successfully with Fynx as my mentor, I decided to have a go and host on my own. When Fynx was my mentor, she helped me balance the roles, and advised how I should answer questions and which role actions should have priority. Without Fynx, I pretty much did everything on my own - choosing the roles and balancing them.
I tried hosting RSE as a small game - but apparently, I had failed it somewhat by roles being balanced in the mafia's favor.
This time, I wanted to make a balanced game for sure - and planned it to be a huge game. And I wanted to try roles that I had never used before.
Mafia roles
Godfather, Inheritor, Role Checker, Role Blocker, Bomb
Independant roles Jester, Gladiator
Of course, some of them had been modkilled due to lack of activity. As for the Beloved Princess - it was supposed to be Cynthia's role, but apparently, that role was disposed of.
The mafia had a good start. The godfather having died early, the Inheritor eventually took the role and it was almost as if town was doomed. The protection roles were dying out early, not to mention the Reviver. However, with a Vigilante's lucky kill, the town was in a situation where it seemed all was going well.
Due to my desire to experiment as many new roles as possible, I had failed to make the game balanced. The town had too many protective roles, even though I made it unusable on their own selves. And I hadn't realized it until halfway through the game.
Still, I had brought back what I used in GSC - HGSS: the "Day 7" event. It was preplanned from the start, and was to activate automatically. Everybody would have a chance on picking one out of two choices - one would give them protection, one would silence them. From the moment I sent out the event PMs, it was anybody's game. Anyone could've chosen Dialga, and anyone could've chosen Palkia.
And somehow, that last event eventually turned the tables back in the mafias favor.
Overall
Town: Formed an alliance fairly quickly, mostly due to a mason dying early. Showed good teamwork, and works had been mostly done in pairs, which really sped up most of the job. Nice execution on that part.
Mafia: Great teamwork, and good usage of your roles. You tried your luck, and ended up getting it. I was impressed on how you assumed I'd include another "Corpse Whisperer" in this game as well - cuz no matter what, it's even hard for hosts to change their favorites. Going with fake names in the QT had been good countermeasures for any possible roles - which, unfortunately, I did not include in this game XDD

You used your Mason role well, and I am impressed with what you've done. Getting in contact with the cop fairly early on and collecting claims for the town was beneficial. For some reason, the mafia decided to leave you alive until the end, so you had done well on not looking too dangerous to the mafia to be targeted - even though they knew who you were early on.

Winner of the Mafia team and one who worked behind the scenes. You had been avoiding the townie radar and used your role efficiently. While mafia role usages mostly been defined under agreement, you still sent in your role and found out a lot of power roles. though I would've loved to see a GIF of Misaki smirking in one of your rejoicing posts XDD

Even though you subbed in, you fit in well and communicated with other townies, and survived till the end of the game. One thing that I wish you had done more was showing activity in the main thread. As you had been Lynchproof, you could've been more aggressive with your posts, but I guess your way was better cuz you survived till the end XDD.

Getting in contact with the 'cop' has been a 'risk' yet you managed to do it. However, as being known to be dangerous, you were an easy target for the mafia - and therefore, died early. There was nothing you could do - since it was much too early in the game. I wish to have seen more of you. you even made an Ignitionshipping QT ;_;

You tried to use your role, but somehow the targets you had chosen turned out to give the least info, or not at all. I should say that was merely luck as you hadn't been in contact much, and still died early in the game. Maybe the mafia decided you were too dangerous XDD. Better luck next time!!

Your scummy actions go hand in hand with the godfather role... except that you died rather early in the game. I'm guessing it was all according to the plan to make the Inheritor somewhat invincible by giving 'immunity' to cop checks. However, I still found that you are very well suited for the godfather XDD I have to admit that choosing to claim JOAT, and then killing the real JOAT had been rather hilarious XDD

Until you got killed in the game, you had perhaps been somewhat hiding from being targeted? However, the mafias targeted you after a successful rolecheck, which led the town to being Doctor-less for the rest of the game. Still, you had shown regular activity among the townies and even got in contact with the godfather. Hope to see more from you next time!!

You had gotten killed almost right after the Doctor died, and it was even before you could make your ability shine. I wish I could have seen more action from you. You had made regular postings in the main thread, but I wanted to see the Back-up Doctor in action. As the mafia kill on you had been random, there isn't much that I can say. One thing that I'd also like to see from you is communicating with more diverse people.

I had not expected you to get the incredible lucky win as a Jester XDD But that aside, as a townie with a passive role, claiming early might have been a good choice to make. Double voters become crucial near the end where there are few players, so if you had survived, you could've contributed more - if we ignore the event XDD

This had been a difficult role to use, because by the time you had died, many of the dead roles would've been killed again even if you had revived them. Still, even without using your role, you had done well communicating with the Mason and the cop, also contributing to the town alliance getting stronger.

Awesome usage of your role. Had it not been the Vigilante's lucky kill, you would've infiltrated the town thoroughly, as the Inheritor role had been a blind spot. I must say you had been a very good 'spy' in this game, and one that I would label as a dangerous player XDD

I had given you a sacrificial role, which, from what I've heard and concluded, is a role that players find very difficult to use and in some cases, reluctant. You saved the cop, and therefore, let the cop receive crucial information on the mafias in exchange of your life. Excellent role usage that requires teamwork, and since the mafias hadn't been checking on you until you used your ability - staying out of the radar for a long time had also been quite impressive. I would've loved it if you had shown a teensy more activity.

While I appreciate your activity, please read the QT more carefully as your teammates may provide you plans and clues that are crucial to what you post next. Even though it may have been random, you did kill the Back-up Doctor. So I must say that was a good RNG - and good guessing XDD

You had sent in your roles every night phase and got your results except for when you were roleblocked. By working together with the Mason, you collected claims and it contributed greatly in choosing who the last mafias would be in the end. If it weren't for the Inheritor, you could've led the townies play a safe game XDD

Getting in contact with the Vigilante had been a very good choice as you are another protective role. Keeping the Vig safe had been a good choice as the mafia had been planning to get rid of him when they find the chance - although it wasn't until much later. I kinda wish you would've talked with more diverse people since there could've been someone else who might have needed the Jailkeeper role. If you had collected a lot of claims it could have changed the course of the game, imo, since you can make someone immune to death for two phases.

I should say that you had good guts and brilliant guesses. Maybe it was because you hadn't been in contact with the rest of the townies much that you hadn't receive all the info about the Inheritor being copchecked as 'town'. Nevertheless, you used your ability on the Inheritor, and turned the tables. I should say, if it were not the Dialga/Palkia event, you would've been the key factor that led town to victory.
So all in all, everyone had done great!! XDD

I still need to learn a lot on hosting and balancing the roles adequately to make a fun game that'll have many unexpected turns and twists, even without events. Maybe, when I feel confident enough for the game, I'll plan it someday.

Yeah, I got in contact with the cop, successfully making a 3 people alliance in just the first Day Phase. How? I just went on to scream at FA that she's the cop through voice chat. "no no my hubby i'm not the cop even though i told you that the role i have is a role that i don't really like like the cop role!!!" "yes my waifu you are the cop!!!" "oh okay i am the cop!!!"

I'm thinking of making one. It's got good elements that fits for a mafia game - colored teams, and a lot of diverse power roles lol. It's actually perfect.
