I thought it was worth a try. Like you said, we've had no leads so far. :/
The angel trainee was sitting on a bench in the park as the moon reached its peak in the sky. There was a soft wind, blowing the grass around and the smell of flowers to her. She could hear rushing water nearby, making this a beautiful scene, touching nearly all of the senses.
What she was thinking, though, wasn't as joyful.
"...All these people are being killed," she murmured. "Five of them are down...And we still haven't gotten any of the people killing them to rethink their actions..."
A tear slowly trickled down her face, dropping and making a dark spot on the beige bench. "All this loss of innocent life! I...I can't take it! I can stop it, can't I...?"
Quickly revealing her wings, she flew around the city-slowly, as her wings weren't that of an actual angel-making sure she stayed hidden at all costs. Of course, having white wings and a white dress in the dead of the night wasn't helping.
Eventually, her wings were tired enough that she had to land. She hadn't found anything, but surely she could try tomorrow, right?
At that time, a man walked up behind her. He was clad in orange, as he usually was, but instead of his usually cool and calm stature, he was staring at the angel trainee. In his mind, there was no way angels existed. Despite the authenic look of her wings, he convinced himself that she was just some girl pretending to be an angel. She didn't even have a halo, after all...
Flonne, hearing his footsteps, turned around warily. The first thing she saw was a gun equipped to his belt. She gasped, but then remembered that this man was part of the police force. Of course he would have a gun.
"O-oh! Hi there! I'm Flonne... Do you need something, officer?" she asked, not realizing the man saw her wings.
"No," he replied after a few moments of reconvincing himself she was just some random girl; "I'm just doing my nightly shift. Carry on..."
Flonne nodded and began to turn around to walk back to the park. It was then that she heard a gunshot; her first instinct was to quickly find whoever had just gotten shot and save them.
Instead, she fell, blood pouring out of the wound in her back. Dirt smeared her cheek due to the speed and power of which she fell to the ground while her murderer stood motionless, uncaring.
"L-laharl...Etna...I'm...sorry..." she whispered brokenly.
Her last thoughts were hope-filled; perhaps the gods would let her return to Celestia...return to the Netherworld, to Laharl and Etna...instead of losing them forever through reincarnation.
It is now Day 4. You may vote in-thread and use day actions.
The phase will end on June 10th, 8:00pm, Eastern Time.

The mafia are taking us apart... We need a lead very badly. Send your roleclaims to me!
We need a lead and I've wanted to take roleclaims for a while.
Roleclaim to In Soviet Russia? Are we all doing this?
What are you afraid of? And what are you made of?
Flesh and bone
And I'm running out of time,
Flesh and bone
I'm not, she hasn't done anything to make her innocent.
We lost virtually all of the ways to check for innocence. You guys have to trust me on this.
Sure, and we should all just claim in thread. Might as well.
I sent my roleclaim, In Soviet Russia. And I agree, if we wanna move ahead...
What are you afraid of? And what are you made of?
