Oh, I skipped that part 3 times before I finally noticed it. -.-'
I know nothing of the franchise I will be honest. I mean I have heard of it before, but I have no knowledge over it.
Anyway wiki shall come to my aid once more.
"The first case of the game presents defence attorney Phoenix Wright at his first trial under Mia Fey's watchful eye, successfully defending his childhood friend Larry Butz for murder."
I will check the whole plot tomorrow and the characters so no worries, I will have a good picture of the set up before the game starts.
Eleven spots left!
Ooh, definitely in this!
Fact; Dahlia Hawthorne is the ultimate example of a rose having thorns. Her name even says so!
I'll play.
It's about lawyers. That is literally all I know.
"I'm in!" The game was first released for the gba in Japan in 2001, and was later released for the nintendo ds. The first case involves a rookie lawyer by the name of Phoenix Wright working with his mentor Mia Fey to prove the innocence of his childhood friend larry butz, who has been arrested for the murder of his latest girlfriend (he gets over this relatively quickly as the player sees later throughout the game)... the prosecutor for the case is the infamous "rookie killer" Winston Payne, however Wright manages to defeat him in court and get larry declared not guilty.
the second case unfortunately sees Mia Fey being murdered by the "thinker" first to get arrested is Maya Fey, sister of the late Mia Fey, and later Phoenix Wright himself gets arrested...
(I can go on but I am on a tight schedule :p )
"Bloodshed begets bloodshed. Hatred begets hatred. The rage and emotion sinks into the land and stains it with the crest of blood. No matter how many times they repeat themselves, they never learn. These sad fools"

You see things, you keep quiet about them, and you understand.
If there's still a spot left, I'm in please (Oh and I had to re read the rules so many times to spot that lol)
Wikipedia came in handy
A live action movie was made about it and released in Feb 2012 following the first game
I'll play (subscribing to the thread this time)
Anyway, fact: It was first released as Gyakuten Saiban (逆転裁判?, lit. "Turnabout Trial") in Japan exclusively for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, and was re-released for the Nintendo DS as an enhanced remake in 2005 with touchscreen support, microphone support, and exclusive content.
(Totally didn't steal that from Wikipedia).

Ok, I'll join
