I can't believe no one saw this. People come on, stop voting for Sputnik. A mafioso would never self vote, and if I were the host I would modkill one if they did, at least on day 1. Wasting a kill on a jester will do us no favors and give us no information. That's right, none. Not every lynch gives you information.

Look, guys, there are only three options here:

1. Sputnik is the Fool.

In which case, I don't mind lynching her. She'll just get in the way playing like this and continue to confuse the heck out of us.

2. Sputnik is a Townie playing against her win condition.

In which case, I don't mind lynching her, since she will be absolutely zero help.

3. Sputnik is Mafia, and trying a painfully obvious gambit to appear to be the fool.

In which case we should definitely lynch her.

We stand nothing to lose and everything to gain from ending this silliness.

1. As Croag says, lynching the fool would be a bad idea early in the game, if that's what she is. It'd still put us at a disadvantage -- the fool can still join with us for a time to actually help in the capacity of a vanilla townie. Besides, the fool's not really meant to be lynched, anyway -- not from a townie's point of view. `-`
2. If Sputnik was playing against her win-condition, doubtless some sort of notification would have been spread about denoting that, either in the form of a warning or PichuBoy subbing her out. As well as that, seeing as playing against one's win-condition has been noticed and punished in the past -- and even named and shamed in a thread about a game that Sputnik was actually involved in -- I'd like to believe that she's not playing against her win-condition, such as it may be.
3. I have no idea where you got this from. If she was mafia, why would she pretend to be the fool? It's pretty common knowledge that people will purposefully lynch the fool in the War Room because they don't know any better -- that would be playing against her win-condition.

Lynching Sputnik is not a perfect solution, before people are going to get that notion into their heads. I mostly agree with the notion that she's the fool, to be honest, but lynching her is sorta detrimental right now. She can still be helpful, and the mafia would have more people to work their way through anyway.

Awfully keen on lynching her, though, aren't you?

Is it possible that Soulmaster is the jester though, and as I said before, Sputnik is something like her troll ability? I just have a hard time believing Soulmaster would actually just say that without being something like a jester.

If you think she has a troll ability, then look through the list of possible abilities and see if there is one like that.

I looked and the closest thing I found to a "troll" was the "jester" ability.

Yeah, I don't think there was anything like the troll ability listed, so... Maybe she's a "suicidal townie"?

Could be something to look into, but at this point, we all know it's probably best to keep her around until a cop check comes up.

I "saw" it (since that was the post in which Soulmaster voted for me), but I read it as a joke-post. In fact, I have a very hard time even now taking it seriously.

So... we all universally agree that Sputnik is not a Townie? But... we think Soulmaster might be an Independent?

Oh, yes, well then of course it makes sense to let the confirmed anti-town role live and lynch a possible Townie instead. Very pragmatic.

If I remember correctly, a suicidal townie is a role that will passively die on a set night, nothing able to prevent their death.

I'd personally advocate a no-lynch right now, to be honest, but what would I know? `-`
