Protip - story is NEVER unimportant. In fact, story is VITALLY important. Especially in Ryuu's games.

The names he dropped all characters from his D&D campaign that I played in for a couple sessions (as Merida, a non-magic user). Specifically, magic users. An invoker, bard, necromancer, summoner, and wizard, to be precise, though not in any particular order. Make of the presence of those roles in the flavor text what you will.

The cry rebounded off the stone walls of the castle. The roar shook awake every member of the captive wizards. They scattered, looking for the next body...

(five minutes earlier)

She stood over the book and body, chanting, willing life back into the bones. She chanted and sang and cried out for life to fill his body, for the wounds to heal and for his eyes to open again. For his lungs to breathe and his limbs to move. She poured over the book, hoping to find resurrect her guardian, hoping to protect him from the darkness of hell.

The two men standing behind her were unknown to her. Her mind was on her work, on his body. The two men had followed her anguished cries until they found her hiding place. One of them pulled a long, curved blade from his robe. It glistened with shadow, seeming to suck the very heat from the room as it bared steel. His companion produced from his robes a note, written in the blood of their victims. The second man nodded, and they attacked.

Her throat went first so she could not scream, then her arms went so blood would flow more freely. The knife cut deep, searing her skin and stopping it from clotting over. She would bleed out and would herself become a corpse. Silent as the grave.

The second man dropped the note on her body, staring deep into her fearful eyes. His face showed no emotion, even as he bellowed, "WICKEDNESS MUST BE PUNISHED!" Then the two men fled into the shadows.

The others finally found her, dead, gripping the arms of the sword mage. A note lay nearby, strangely unmarred by the carnage around it.

"No good deed goes unpunished. Let her die a traitor's death."

You are the Necromancer.



Okay, everyone gives you a bad rap. It's sad, but true. Necromancy is considered by most to be evil. Clearly everyone forgets that necromancy is the art of death AND life. Resurrection spells are necromatic. Yes, Jesus may have been a necromancer.

However, you are not yet powerful enough to be Jesus. You can however Animate Dead. That's your favored spell. Just once in the game you may declare a player under your protection. Should they die that night they will be instantly reanimated as a zombie under your control. You will control their vote and their abilities. If you die, so does the zombie.

If your protected player doesn't die when you first use the ability, you may use your ability again the following night.

Sadly, there is bad news. Should anyone check your alignment they will mistakenly see you as Evil Aligned. Maybe you can use this game to change everyone's opinions of necromancers.

To use your ability, PM me with the message, “Night X- Raise [name]” and they will be automatically risen to follow you. Work it out with your new minion what you want them to do.

You are Good Aligned. You win when all who are Evil Aligned are dead.

Mostly just following others, eager to take any suggestion as long as it gets someone lynched (like Feliciano last phase). I'm just getting an overeager mafioso vibe from her.

I have to agree with Mij. Since the game started you have been the most eager poster and you have been very critical about those who are not participating to your level. Maybe a little highly strung, or trying to seem as 'goodie two shoes' as possible. I reserve the right to be completely wrong, and I'm sorry if I am. I will eat my words if it comes to it, but for now, you are the only person who is really standing out as suspicious to me.

I didn't join this game to get inactive. I joined to play. However meaningless it may be, I'd post something as often as I can. That's my own mafia philosophy anyways.

Exactly as I said. I joined up to play. I joined to post. Is there anything wrong with that? I wouldn't sign up for something to be inactive.

There's nothing wrong with that. I realize it's not a solid reason but you are the only person that's sticking out at the moment.

-.- Sheesh... I was taught in my last mafia game that inactivity hurts the game big time, but here I am, being active as possible, and I get voted for that?

The host had been upset and disappointed with inactivity in that previous game. And in my opinion, posting regularly and often is the least we can do to respect the game and the host. He went through all the trouble setting this up, sending out role PMs, and updating the thread everyday. I wouldn't be happy if I were hosting the game and nobody posted.
