No, I'm not talking Oxygen and Boron and Uranium. Wizards haven't discovered that yet. If you want to sound cooler, you're the Avatar. Otherwise, you are wizard who commands the powers of the 4 traditional elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.

Each one of your elemental types grants you different abilities, but you may only have one active for each set of night and day. For fire, you may burn away a single player's vote for that phase. For water, you may freeze a single player's ability for that phase. For air, you can avoid all votes directed at you. For earth, you negate all abilities directed at you. You must have used all four abilities before you are able to reuse any of them.

Accompanying you to the castle is your loyal animal follower (I'll be nice and let you choose the species). S/he loves and adores you and will do anything to protect you, even at the cost of its own life. You have the power to survive one nightkill or lynch thanks to your animal friend. Don't waste that life.

Your ability is passive and will activate the second you would normally die. You will know your animal companion has died in your place.

The chanting was was gave it a way, I think.

The downside of magic is that it tends to have an oral component to it. Sometimes you just can't cast from hiding. I tried to find a corner far from everyone else to prep this big spell... but yeah, they caught me.

So this is the part when I'm laying on my side, burning alive, having my innards turn into lead and being unable to breathe anything but sand. Wizards are cruel when the kill each other.

I didn't have time to set off the spell. Those idiots. If they'd just given me more time I could have saved them. I could have saved all of us. I had found the weak point in the wards. I could break it. I could stop the pattern. But Murphy apparently dictated that I had to die just minutes from breaking the spell.

I wish I had had more time.

The clock struck 6 PM. The sun was setting. It was another night literally on the horizon.

The sun was rising.

The clock was turning backwards.

The body lay there at everyone's feet, but all the blood vanished back into it

The sun reached its peak and began to fall

The clock passed noon and continued reversing itself.

The body remained on the ground.

Then, everything stopped. The sun was once more in the East. The clock read 6 AM. It was dawn of the eighth day again.

The sun rose.

The clock moved forward.

Blood spilled from the body again.

It is now... DAY 8?!
