overly concerned with appearing to be town. As in maybe she had something to hide/didn't want to let her fellow mafia down by getting caught. Townies should do their best not to look scummy, but in NfiNity's case, being so obvious about it raised my eyebrows.
Also, you said you had a problem with some of the rationale but only specified one thing. What is/are the other(s)?
Just the whole harryheart thing. Just because somebody claims something, doesn't automatically make them clear. It might be silly to claim something that obvious, but in the process a mafia member could draw out the person with that ability and save themselves for another day. Doesn't sound so bad anymore. Obviously you were right in your assumption, but that doesn't mean it was completely accurate at the time.
How would the mafia know there is someone with that ability to draw out? Spies aren't rare but neither are they in every game. If the mafia has a role cop they could find out that way, but then why not just kill the person? You get rid of the ability without having to pull some stunt that could very well backfire on you.
And I'm well aware that having claimed =/= clear. Do I think he's town, yes. Do I think that it is 100% guaranteed, no.

My point being, the italics were already present. The flavor text heavily hinted that someone was the cause. It doesn't take a clever mafioso to put two and two together.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Mafia [Day 6: Pompadour no more] [7/30/2012]
@Neonsands; If that is the case, then why hasn't the real spy contacted someone and told them to go after harryheart?

Wow...I can't believe I forgot that when I've mentioned it before in this game.
I still don't get the logic behind a mafioso fakeclaiming spy in order to draw the person who really has that role out. That person could claim to someone in private and ask them to speak on their behalf in thread. Even if the townie did claim in thread and the mafioso was able to convince the town to lynch them, the minute the townie's role PM is revealed upon death the mafioso will be on the chopping block. There are also ways of making the role ineffective/less effective that don't involve sacrificing a mafioso.

Well, it's highly unlikely now. I'm just giving possibilities. And how would the spy know who to trust? That would be a reason.

If the mafioso is already on the chopping block, this is a way out that wastes time and gets atleast one extra kill. I'd say it is a solid strategy by the mafia. It likely only would work for one phase, but one phase could mean a mislynch and a night kill which is more than they had before.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Mafia [Day 6: Pompadour no more] [7/30/2012]
@Neonsands; Or maybe you're just mafia and you're going after harryheart because he's already had suspicion on him and you think he's the most likely townie to get lynched.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Mafia [Day 6: Pompadour no more] [7/30/2012]
@Neonsands; I said all I had to say on the matter a few phases ago. I have no way of defending myself against your claims because anyone could feasably do that! but as Shuck and Luminosity said it'd be a really stupid move to make at the moment and whoever really had the role would've come out by now.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Mafia [Day 6: Pompadour no more] [7/30/2012]
...And this is why I wanted claims... x.x Since it's 2 1/2 hours until the phase change and not a single vote has been cast...

I'd vote but the penalty against me would kill me.

Yes, I read what you wrote. I fucking hate being accused of not reading what people wrote. I read it, and I responded. Now role claim please.

So the part where I was talking about this being the reasoning I didn't like for a vote last phase and saying it just happened to work out that Harry was innocent. You got that part? Because you seem to think I'm accusing Harry of something when I'm doing anything but.

All right, now we're getting somewhere.

I understand ShuckPluff's point. It sounds like he just wants to lynch the spy.
