I haven't seen anything like that in the shop and why wouldn't he say anything, or anyone else

I actually have seen them.

Increasing your moving speed, you will be fast enough to outrun votes. Wether that makes sense or not, votes will only count half against you next dayphase.

There was also stuff like triple voting and such in the shop, so there's plenty of ways the lynch would've gone differently without it being tied to any specific character.

When the first lynch on Soulmaster failed, he said he was just as clueless as the rest of us. I'm choosing to believe that because telling us he bought a lynch protection would certainly have helped his cause. If it wasn't an item he bought himself, then I wonder why someone would have saved him.

I guess that was our bad for jumping to conclusions. There are so many ways that all of these things could have happened. Let's try and focus on that from now on.
