My life is a nightmare
Seth Becker was sitting on the couch of his allocated apartment, watching a videotape from the events that happened nineteen years ago. He was holding a revolver in his hand; on the small table in front of him was laying the bottle of rum he had downed earlier. For the past two hours, he had been watching the same thing over and over again. On the TV screen, in cheap cellphone quality, one could see an Asian woman dressed in guerrilla attire, severely outnumbered by an angry mob in an alley. She was holding a knife in her hand and while the most courageous citizens were falling one after the other against her blade, the rest was watching, unsure as to what to do. She was clearly very strong in physical combat. After some time, the image would become too shaky to clearly see anything else as everyone charged her. A few minutes later, however, it would become clear again and offer a closeup on her body, laying still on the ground, beaten savagely. She did not survive such an assault. Before he could see more, Seth turned off the TV.
For the past nineteen years, he had been searching for something, any proof or hope that she would still be alive. He now had in front of his eyes the proof that she died in this very town. Whatever happened to her body, it couldn't have been ceremonial. He sighed deeply and grabbed his revolver tighter, ready to end it all. He had failed his mission and lost the love of his life. There was nothing else worth fighting for anymore.

~The Artist Formerly Known As PichuBoy~
Jane Sharper walked out from her reinforced car in front of the house she and her elite force was protecting. Before entering the house to check in on her protegee's hiding place, she greeted the two men who were on guard by the door. It was only inside that she realized that something was wrong. It was too quiet, too calm. She could not hear the usual noise her troop was doing whenever they were in the same place for a long period of time. Still in the hallway, she pulled out a revolver from her pocket and turned around at lightning speed; too late, however. The two men who were standing at the door had enough time to sneak up behind her, leaving one of them the opportunity to tackle her to the ground. He managed to position himself atop of her, but not long enough to let his partner pull out his own firearm; with speed one wouldn't expect a lady of her age to have, she managed to overthrow him using her legs and shoot him multiple times in the chest. Before she could do anything else, however, she was in turn greeted by a salve of bullets coming from the man's partner. All is not lost, she thought, thinking of the target she had hidden away.
It is now Day 6.
