Heart of Crystal - a Crystal Nuzlocke challenge story
"He had it comin'! He had it comin'! He only had himself to blame! If you'd've been there, if you'd've seen it, I bet you you would have done the same!"
jokool, could you provide us with your character name? Honestly, I don't think Exor would be lying about the role, seeing how easy it would be to be counterclaimed, plus the flavor text suggests he's telling the truth:
Plus, I don't understand this.Being gifted with her same powers, she would understand.
That's... really really vague. :<Okay, if I get lynched, the town will be down another member and you won't have any new leads from my role.
Dude, I didn't even vote you and it's still abundantly clear that you still have something to hide. Hiding behind strong statements isn't going to fool anyone if you're going to be THAT vague.
I just took the vote off Exor because I a) didn't want a no lynch and b) decided that even though someone's claim for a role is iffy, it's still a very useful role to have around and it's something we can prove later. Oh and tack on c) his role seems consistent with the flavor text, for good measure.
And just in case one of the people that voted Exor is a double-voter and we still have a NL, I'll bite the bullet now and do this:
And not because of some vague notions - but if you're somebody pushing for the lynch of a claimed namecop or pushing for a no lynch, you are not helping town.
And about the Exor and Octy thing, well I believe that octy is town, again cause of a gut feeling but I don't know about Exor either. However, while it is true that he could've gone to blame Octy for claiming the role that he supposedly has it could also be a trick on his part, knowing that the choice would be down between him and octy he might be trying to either turn the attention back to her or to make us become so indecisive that we'll unvote him and forget about them both and focus on jokool.
That being said
Cause even if Exor is mafia he at least tried to give us a way to doubt the possibility, you however increased the bar on your end
Kenneth Stewart patrolled Havendale ever since he joined the armed forces. Even when he was promoted to chief of police, he still kept on patrolling every day to lend a hand to his men. Today, now that a new mob had formed, he was ready to help more than ever. To everyone, he was definitely a paragon of virtue, one who is idolized by children and optimistic adults alike. With this in mind, he opened the door of his car and got out, ready to investigate a building from which a distress call was sent minutes earlier.
Three stories higher, Kenneth ordered his partner to open the door with his hand, holding a revolver in the other to cover him. It was the apartment from which the call was sent, yet it was much too silent inside. Carefully, the man opened the door and glanced inside; nothing. He opened the door and entered, and Kenneth followed. Everything seemed normal. On the right, a kitchen table with a flower pot on the middle and on the left, a comfy-looking living room. In front of them, a hallway led to the kitchen. To the left of it was a door leading to the bedroom. Strangely enough, it was locked. The chief of police signaled his partner to it, and he promptly kicked it open. The two men entered, not noticing the timer on the side of the door frame. They searched around, yet couldn't find anything after a few minutes of rummaging through the drawers and closet. As he turned around, Kenneth noticed the timer, which was at 00:04. He tried to run, but wasn't quick enough; the explosives hidden in the bed killed them both instantly, taking away the top of the building with them.
Meanwhile, in the commercial area of the town, a crowd was gathering in front of one of the biggest architecture enterprises, circling a body laying on the ground. The man had been shot multiple times as he was walking out of the building by hired guns in a white van, which quickly disappeared once the deed was done. His rivalry with his brothers was nothing secret, and even though there were no proofs incriminating either of them, it was clear to everyone who had done this.
It is now Night 3.
This phase should end on July 30th at 8:00 PM, Eastern Time.
Well that sucks :/ now I really do feel bad for that judgement call.
Wait why did Gotpika get killed?
And I suppose it's good that Gotpika is gone, that ability could have potentially hurt us. Though....another name checker? That might have been useful if he decided to help the town.
Okay, who should I check tonight?
@Exor; check me. I haven't told anyone my name.
