Thread: The IT Crowd Mafia - Day 8: Only the Good Die Young [MAFIA WINS!] [21/10/12]

Dan shoved Richmond's lifeless body into the back of his van. It had become crowded and the stench was too much for Victoria to bare. She hurried away, gasping for air. What litte conscious she had was beginning to catch up with her.

"Do you still have it?"

"Yes. It's in my bag. Let's just go!"

"We can't, not yet. Not while there's still a witness"

"There's no one else in the building, everyone has gone home"

"No. There's someone still inside!"


Dan thought back to the conference room where he had stood with Roy, the dying man and the horrible vision of the companies former boss. Dan tried not to think about that. He wasn't scared of the living, but the dead were another matter. He replayed the scene in his head and remembered the man that had burst into the room. The man with the black cloak and the silly top hat. He looked like a magician but to Dan, all he was in that moment was a witness to his horrible crimes. He looked at Victoria who gave an understanding nod. Killing this man would be no magic trick.

You once dated Jen of the IT Crowd. You would love to start a relationship with Jen but ever since her friends, Moss
and Roy told her that you looked like a magician, she shunned you and declared it to be too much of an issue to see past. The only way she could date you was if you actually became a magician, otherwise it was just too weird. Although shocked and upset, you set out to win Jen over by learning some magic tricks in order to make her see you as less odd looking. You are a novice magician, although you aren’t great, you are determined and have learnt the most basic magic. Whenever you vote for a player your vote will be automatically doubled.

When the deed was done, Dan strolled casually out the room. He began to search the building for anybody else that might be there. He searched the ground floor, the second and was almost finished scanning the third when he heard voices coming from the staff room. Inside, a man and a woman sat, drinking coffee. They looked tired and confused. He took a deep breath in and knocked lightly on the door.

You are Jen Barber

You are the only female member of the IT Crowd. Unlike your co-workers, you have virtually no idea how to do your job properly. You lied on your application form and spend most of your days trying to keep your pals, Moss and Roy out of trouble. Despite your lack of enthusiasm and skill, you like your job and appreciate your friends. You are aiding them in their quest to find the Internet.

While Moss and Roy are sticking together, you have formed you own alliance in the form of your homosexual friend Philip and the woman who used to be a man, April. Whenever you see fit, you may convene in the staff room to discuss game tactics.

You are allied with the IT Crowd. Your team will win when all of the Anti Crowd have been eliminated.

You briefly dated Jen of the IT Crowd. After a disastrous date you finally confessed to her your long withheld secret, you’re gay. Although she takes no pleasure in helping you come out of the closet (she had a big crush on you) you are eternally grateful to her for finally giving you the push you needed to admit who you are. You want to help Jen find the internet. Along with your friends, Jen and new recruit April, you have the opportunity to work closely and share your decisions and plans.

You are allied with the IT Crowd. Your team will win when all of the Anti Crowd have been eliminated.

Atomic and Rio Kamishiro have been killed. They were allied with the IT Crowd.

Just like that it was done. Every witness was dead and with nothing to link Dan and Victoria back to the building, all that was left was to clean up all the evidence, wipe away the finger prints and drive off.

For a brief period you were a friend of Moss and Roy of the IT Crowd, however this friendship ended when Roy called the cops on you during a bank robbery you were heading. Feeling betrayed you now hate Moss and Roy with a passion and will do anything to get your hands on the internet, especially if it means getting your hands on those two, in the process. You are a hardened criminal with a lot of experience. You know how to cover your tracks. If the cop should come sniffing around you, you should have no problem convincing him/her of your innocence. This gift of deception comes naturally. No effort or action is required.

You are allied with the Anti Crowd. Your team will win when your allies outnumber the IT Crowd.

You Are Victoria Reynholm

You have been married to boss, Douglas for a number of years. He is a terrible husband, often sleeping with other women and staying out late playing darts and getting drunk. You do everything for him; you even have to brush his teeth. Over time you’ve grown to resent him. However, it has never been Douglas you love, it’s his money and the power that comes with being married to ‘the boss’. You hope to track down the internet and sell it to the highest bidder, so that you might be able to divorce Douglas and still live in luxury. If Douglas should be killed you will naturally inherit all of his powers. A letter concerning your inheritance shall be sent to you, in such an a event.

You are allied with the Anti Crowd. Your team will win when your allies outnumber the IT Crowd.

Dan and Victoria decided not to ransom the internet, the last thing they wanted was the cops sniffing around after all the crimes they had committed. Instead they accepted a £50,000 reward for returning it to the Elders, unharmed. Well, it did have a few bloodstains!

The End
The game is now over as the Mafia have the overriding advantage.

Your participation was minimal and you failed to use your role which probably led to your early demise. However, you did participate regularly in the voting process which is the most important thing: 4/10

Croag

You played well. You weren't as active as you could have been but you participated enough to establish your position. Although you didn't get a chance to use your role, I appreciate that you were saving it for the best opportunity. Kudos for strategic thinking: 7/10

Human

You were eliminated first, partly due to your carefree attitude. Although I don't think you got a chance to show your talent for mafia games, your enthusiam was a welcome thing. You're also the first person ever to post a reaction shot of your death. Creative!: 6/10

Atomic

You played very well although you could have participated more than you did. You were the least active mason but you still contributed, just not as much as others: 7/10

Sunburn

You could of participated much more. You were one of the few who were inactive for the most part, however you did make valuable contributions towards the end of game. The double voter might not be exciting but It can prove very useful and you didn't use your ability as often as you could have: 5/10

Rio Kamishiro

You have been a consistent player throughout. One of the most active. You had good strategy and formed strong alliences. A perfect player: 10/10

Synthesis

Your lack of participation began to become a problem. With such an important role you didn't show enthusiasm or use it to its full ability. You failed to use it at all one night and the checks you did make seemed to be random and not chosen carefully: 2/10

Thanks to you, at least two towns people were saved from death. You used your role well! You're definitely not "a horrible player" quite the opposite!: 10/10

You played very well. You actively participated in the thread and communicated with your mason friends, regularly. Although you didn't have any special role, you showed enthusiam: 8/10

Aelita

Your playing style was interesting. You participated in the voting process a lot and you made some very good choices in regards to your role checks. Although I didn't understand some of the tactics you were using, I commend anybody with a strategy and you managed to escape death for quite a while even though you were one of the most outspoken players: 10/10

Buoy

You played very well. You did a good job at convincing the thread of your innocence for a time, but eventually the cops caught up with you. You showed great enthusiasm and posted regularly in thread as well as in the mafia QT. The only bad decision was lynching Croag against your fellow mafia's wishes. Although it turned out Croag was threatening, the lynch was done for personal reasons and not out of any kind of strategy. I get it though, you were gonna die anyway, you had nothing to lose. Still, it's disregard for the welfare of your team: 8/10

Elysion

You came in late but your enthusiasm gave the game a new lease of life. You have been great throughout. You've made strong alliences and wise decisions regarding your role. You were also one of the most active posters and voters in thread: 10/10

I'm fairly useless in the scumhunting category, though, for the most part, so... But thank you for the ratings! ^^ I definitely didn't expect to get such a high one. ^^;
