I highly doubt Rio would openly claim if it wasn't true and she would just be counter claimed, so I'm willing to believe her. Still, I guess confirmation from @Atomic; would help.

I won't deny that mason is a very easy claim to make, although since you've specified a partner then I'm not really worried about you not telling the truth. However it would also draw away attention of you to the mafia and they tend not to target masons, since it's not a power role. Although proven innocents, maybe they will target, but whilst it'll tend to keep you alive, it risks the town losing better roles than masons. (No offence to your roles :b)
