Well, um, I kind of doubt a mafia member would step up and claim miller when you're the real one

Exactly what Atom said. After all, she/he knew you'd be lynched and if you turned out to be the real one, that would make her/him the next on the chopping block.

Regrettably the crook saw no other choice, he reached inside his leather jacker and pulled out a small pistol. The memories of that day in Deynholm's office flooded back all at once, in a fit of sudden dispair, Roy ran towards the exit. The door slammed shut, almost as if someone had slammed it, but there was no one near the exit? The room went cold and a sudden gust of air swept through the blindes, knocking documents and stationary to the floor. Roy was terrfied, he looked at the crook. His eyes were bulging, confused and frightned, he knew that this was something beyond both of their control. The lights began to flicker before they faded to black, a glowing light filled the room. It was an apparition. Roy recognised the the spirit.

"Mr. Reynholm?"

"Hello Roy, sorry about this, but i'm afraid me and this roughian here have to kill you"
