Thread: Bloodshed in Blackthorn (Pokemon Mafia) TOWN VICTORY [8-24-11]

Vote: Ghaskan, just so there's no overwhelming bandwagon. ;)

The group began to vote and accusations flew once more. "It's Icy! Trust me!" "No it's Ghaskan! He seems scummy!" In the end the group decided to lynch Icy. The group soon set up a noose and inserted the pokemon's head through it. As they hung the pokemon they began to cheer as they though they had killed the last mafia threat. However, the pokemon's eyes remained open. It quickly snapped the noose and roared, unwilling to be taken down by this lynch.

Nothing has happened.

You are a Mightyena!

Mightyena travel and act as a pack in the wild. The memory of its life in the wild compels the Pokémon to obey only those trainers that it recognizes to possess superior skill.

An excellent hunter, you can sniff out prey from miles away. You are a

I haven't posted once, so I guess I'll start reading through the thread now.

that confirms it. Ghaskan is the last mafia. If she doesnt die tonight for whatever reason lynch her tomorrow. if two death happen and ghaskan is not one of them lynch Magic Zoroark next. Thank you guys!

As the sun set on the town, the villagers slept once more, certain they knew who the last mafioso left was. However, the Jigglypuff awoke in the middle of the night determined to survive. It rolled to the house of the Plusle and jumped through the window. Within seconds it pulled a knife and slit the pokemon's throat, making quick work out of the body. This time the Jigglypuff made sure she would not recover. She cut the heart into many pieces and cut off each limb. Soon, the Jigglypuff headed back to it's house. Just as Jigglypuff turned around, it was face to face with a mighty Gyarados. It tried to sing the gyarados to sleep, but its song was cut short when Gyarados bit into the pink flesh. The Jigglypuff was soon killed and the Gyarados remained with the two bodies. However the scene caused a commotion, and everyone in town quickly crowded into the house. The Ditto substituted for the cop to check the identity of the Jigglypuff, and sure enough it was the last of the mafia. The town rejoiced, they could now live without the fear of a mafia threat.

Dear Sourcandy, you are Plusle!

Plusle always acts as a cheerleader for its partners. Whenever a teammate puts out a good effort in battle, this Pokémon shorts out its body to create the crackling noises of sparks to show its joy.

You are part of a dynamic duo that can support your allies on the field of
battle. You may double any of your allies besides each other's lynch votes. But
you two do everything together so you must both vote to lynch the same person.
If the vote is split or one doesn't vote it will not be counted. You also must
agree on who to use your supporting move on.

If one of you can't post for some reason let me know ahead of time so it won't
affect your partner. Also, when one of you dies, you lose the support ability,
but you may vote independently. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate all of the mafia.

Dear ghaskan, you are a Jigglypuff!

When its huge eyes light up, it sings a mysteriously soothing melody that lulls its enemies to sleep.

Seemingly just a cute singing ball of fluff, you are secretly part of the mafia.
You are a singer. You may sing during a lynch to immediately end it and change
the phase to night once during the game. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You are of the mafia. You must outnumber the town to win. You and the other four
members of the mafia must agree on a target to kill each night. Only one of you
has to send in a pm for the kill, but to use somebody's role the owner of it
must pm me.

Dear Opposumguy, you are a Wobbuffet!

To keep its pitch-black tail hidden, it lives quietly in the darkness. It is never first to attack.

Your punching bag-like body suits you well to take in and release attacks. You
are a counter. Two times at night, you can counter any roles or nightkills sent
your way back on the user. This ability can easily turn the tide of the game.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate all of the mafia members.



Dear Icy404, you are a Steelix!

Its body has been compressed deep under the ground. As a result, it is even harder than a diamond.

Your sturdy body can withstand even the strongest of blows. You are a tank. You
will not die the first time you are killed or lynched. It takes two tries to get
you to fall. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate all of the mafia.



Dear Zwhoobatte, you are a Slaking!

Slaking spends all day lying down and lolling about. It eats grass growing within its reach. If it eats all the grass it can reach, this Pokémon reluctantly moves to another spot.

A very lazy pokemon, you'd rather have a snooze with a friend instead of
working. You are a slacker. Every even numbered day, you cant vote for
lynching. But, when you can't vote, you can void one other vote. This role is a
blessing and a curse, so good luck! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate the mafia.



Dear Derier44, you are a Hoothoot!

It has a perfect sense of time. Whatever happens, it keeps rhythm by precisely tilting its head in time.

Through the years you have learned to sleep with one eye open. That ability has
paid off well when the mafia strikes at night. You are a sleep watcher. You can
see what actions were performed to you at night and by who. If you have any
questions, feel free to ask.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate the mafia.



Dear Synthesis, you are a Minun!

Minun is more concerned about cheering on its partners than its own safety. It shorts out the electricity in its body to create brilliant showers of sparks to cheer on its teammates.

Dear acs, you are a Chansey!

A gentle and kind-hearted Pokémon that shares its nutritious eggs if it sees an injured Pokémon.

Your healing expertise has you working in the pokemon center of the town. You
are a healer. One time in the game you can revive any player at night. However,
their role will be known to all so no guarantees on how much longer they live
afterwards. If they have a move that can only be use a certain number of times
the number will reset. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You are of the town. To win, you must eliminate all of the mafia.

Indepent Roles:

Dear !TLZ, you are a Ditto!

Capable of copying an enemy's genetic code to instantly transform itself into a duplicate of the enemy.

You can transform into any pokemon you want at will. Thus, you are the role
thief. Upon start of the game you will be given a list of every role. Three
times in the game, you may choose to use any of them. Though you were given such
great power, you are an outlaw, and likewise you will have pursuers. If you have
any questions, feel free to ask.

You are independent. To win, you must survive until either the mafia or the town
wins.



Dear MagicZoroark, you are a Magikarp!

Famous for being very unreliable. It can be found swimming in seas, lakes, rivers and shallow puddles.

You are as useless as a pokemon can get. You just calmly splash while people are
dying around you. You are the fool. Your goal is to die. You have no special
powers, as you are as useless as the white crayon. If you have any questions,
feel free to ask.

You are independent. To win, you must die within the first 3 nights.

(Evolved into Gyarados, daily vigilante who must survive until the end.)

I knew you were ditto and I was really worried more about the mafia, I was going to kill you two nights ago but then I discovered dejavu was actually mafia and so I went against him. So yea, I got all of the mafia covered ;) however I could have never done this without @parma,@acs1903,@Opossumguy,@Derier44,@Zhwoobatte,@Icy404 and @MagicZoroark.

GG. Remember the lesson, don't forget to kill in the night and don't let the all-knowing live for too long. (each issue is kinda related to each other)
Though I guess I can be proud of myself for knowing who the cop was *cheers*

I liked the game, and managed to win. My only complaint is that failed attempts at redirecting night actions for my role shouldn't have counted. Other than that, it was a great game. My third mafia game win.
