Okay, so... To be honest, I'm not entirely seeing Rio as scummy. Sputnik could have been easily baiting the cop into revealing themselves, and the way that she felt would be the least suspicious way to do this would be through asking them to check Rio; if we were to use meta, Sputnik often comments on or jokingly votes Rio due to how often she has been mafia, meaning that it would have been possible to brush it off or have it be ignored, right? And if she got lynched hey, look, Rio'll come and take the fall. There wasn't much to lose in choosing Rio above everyone else.

That being said, everything in the argument here on both sides is WIFOM. If nothing better comes along, I suppose it would be most logical to lynch her; really, though, I think we should be looking at some alternatives first, if anyone has any.

Because I still think that Sputnik had a reason to want her copchecked, and I haven't seen her give us any alternatives. Not helped by how quickly she got pretty defensive about it, when it wasn't even the day phase.

To be honest, I actually find Santabomb to be quite suspicious as he opted for a No Lynch when he could have just not voted at all. Yes, the vote for No Lynch and not voting at all makes a difference to me. And at that point it was pretty obvious Sputnik was going to be lynched, so why the No Lynch? This is the best I've got, sadly. I'm just grasping at straws...

This coupled with the fact Ryoga was just killed and Ryoga was the only one defending Rio is kinda changing my opinion on the matter since I was actually for killing Rio before her death. It makes me wonder why Ryoga, an indenpendent vanilla, was targeted of all things.

To be honest, I doubt they knew she was an independent vanilla, as even if they have a rolecop who checked her, that wouldn't have told them her alignment.

That she was the one defending Rio is interesting, but she could have been killed in an attempt to cause confusion amongst us. There's no way of knowing, I suppose, but I still find Rio very suspicious... and certainly the person most worth lynching.
