The day went by with some discussion. While most of the beings present threw accusations here and there, some of the present did not speak, preferring to stay calm and observe how the situation developed.

Finally as the sun was setting, one of the figures stood up.

Very well, it seems that we haven't reached a conclusion in today's deliberations. I suggest stopping the meeting for today and get a good rest in order to continue tomorrow.

There was a murmur of approval and soon enough, the doors opened and one by one, they all exited the hall and dispersed through the island, intent on continuing the following day.

Yet, most of them wouldn't be able to achieve a good nights sleep... since the enemy waited, in the shadows...

A being walked calmly through the rocky canyons of the island, happily whistling to himself.

He was so focused in his thoughts that he didn't notice a shadow creeping behind him... nor the shadow launching an attack...

"Ha, fooled you" Shouted the being as he jumped out of the shadow Tendril's way. The makuta, surrounded by shadows cursed under his teeth.

"You pitiful creature, die now" He said as more attacks were unleashed, each of them evaded by the target. However, the being was getting more tired by the second, and was slowly driven to a corner. The makuta, finally having cornered his prey.

"Now you are mine... Die!!!" Said the attacker as he launched a final, shadowed tendril at his victim.

...

The attack never connected. Something stopped the tendril from reaching it's target. Smiling, the being mocked it's attacker and fled.

No one was killed

It is now Day 2, this phase will end at midnight of (01/20/2013) Central time.

... and we are back to the insanity of day 1. mmm... that sounds like a good title. I'll use it.

I'm glad you brought up Orion because I'd like to have a serious discussion about his vote. Several people found that suspicious, and you seem to as well.

Serious question, no reaction test (probably): Do you think Orion would be more likely to make that mistake as Town or Scum? If Scum, what do you think his motivation was?
