Avatar: The Last Airbender Mafia Game

Premise

Water...Earth...Fire...Air...
My grandmother used to tell my stories about the old days, the time of peace, when the Avatar kept balance between Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads...but that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements; only he could stop the ruthless firebenders, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and that the cycle has broken, but I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow the Avatar will return to save the world.

Rules/Guidelines

1) You may role claim, but in no way, shape, or form may you share your role PM with others (forwarding, screenshots, etc.).

2) You must stay active. If you fail to post within four days, I will send you a PM asking if you would still like to play. Failure to post within five days allows me to reassign your role to a substitute. If something in your life comes up, please state in the thread how long you will be gone (you may still be lynched or night killed during your time away, though). If you are no longer interested in the game, please tell me so I can reassign your role to a substitute.

3) Play with good sportsmanship and do not cheat. If things aren’t going your way, don’t sweat it. It’s only a game and it’s just for fun. :)

4) PM me all discussions that take place, whether you’re innocent or mafia (this includes links to personal QuickTopics). You may not quote PM conversations in the thread, but you can discuss what was said in them. I don’t know how to use the IRC channel, so please stick to PMs and QTs.

5) Each phase (day and night) will last 24 hours. I hope to end each phase around 8:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time) which is 2:00 AM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Please bear with me if I do not update exactly on time.

6) The two factions in this game are Team Avatar (Town) and Fire Nation (Mafia). One team must eliminate all members of the opposing team to win (Townspeople must kill all Mafia members/Mafia members must kill all Townspeople). You do not need to be familiar with the show to play, but I highly recommend you watch it because it's incredible.

7) Each day phase, you may vote or unvote for any member using the following format:
Vote: [USER]
Unvote: [USER]
I will most likely count your vote/unvote if it is not bolded, but please do your best to follow this format. If a tie occurs, no one will be lynched.

8) Each night phase, you may PM me your night actions unless your role says otherwise. Once sent in, they may not be retracted. If you do not plan to use your night action, send me a PM with the title "Idling - Night X" so I know you're still active.

9) Once dead, please refrain from posting in the thread. You may have your last words, but after that: no more. You may not share any information after your death.

10) If you change your username, please state who you were before and your new username in the thread.

11) Failure to adhere to any of these rules may result in a modkill.

12) And so the last rule doesn’t end on such a grim note…have fun!
