The mafia must have been well aware of the existence of a spy given that America* was caught that way. They're obviously impersonating other players in an attempt to get extra kills. Using such evidence to lynch someone is grasping at best. Don't you have any other reasons to be suspicious of me other than an easily tricked role ability?

Well, let's see. No, I don't have anything I can analyse from in-thread, seeing as you've been an inactive poster in this game, pretty much. Additionally, you're the only male player in this game who types remotely like the person did in that message, and I'm pretty sure (no offence) that a lot of people would mistake you for a girl -- mainly because I thought you were a girl at first. The mafia was only just aware of the spy the day we lynched Belarus., so I don't see how they could have come up with that sort of plan to imitate other people in order to frame them. As well as that, the mafia would have to assume that the spy would spy on one of those for their plan to be effective, and it just doesn't seem worthwhile putting that sort of thing into motion in the hopes that someone will go, "Hey, that message seems like xyz, let's lynch them". May I remind you that America* also tried to play the "HALP I'M BEING FRAMED" card?

Using such evidence is the best lead we have at this time, and it's not 'grasping' whatsoever. It's actually logical deduction based on what we saw from those messages. Also, seeing as we don't know the time that those messages were posted in (although it's presumably around the time Belarus. was lynched), we can't judge whether or not the mafia would have had time to formulate that plan to fool a spy or anyone who receives the spy's results.

If you're unsatisfied with this lead, why don't you offer a better one instead of just criticising it?

Being anti-claim isn't necessarily a bad thing. Additionally, I didn't say that was true about the 'easily confused' thing -- it was simply speculation. I was just wondering about your reasons, since you offered an FoS on NfiNity as a lead without originally stating your reasons.

Do you know what AtE means? It means 'appeal to emotion'. You basically just said, "Don't lynch me or you'll lose!" which is more often than not a mafia move. Townies would only use AtE towards endgame in order to swing votes towards someone who they either know or strongly believe to be scum; mafia members use AtE usually when they're about to be lynched in order to swing votes away from themselves, because they obviously don't want to be lynched. Beloved Princess, which is what you've just claimed, would be a strong mafia fakeclaim in this case, as you can potentially scare people off from lynching you. I sort of doubt you're telling the truth, given the circumstances.

I don't see how that is an appeal to emotion though. I would call excuses like "I was visiting my sickly relative and so didn't have time to defend myself" an appeal to emotion.

Merely claiming my role and character is not an attempt at emotional support.

AtE doesn't mean "omg i am fakin bout to die irl plz no!!!!!" ;_________;

The reason I was so against claiming was because Fresa has never been cleared. The last thing we'd want is to give all our claims to a mafioso when it wasn't even necessary to do so. I'm not implying Fresa IS mafia, but none of us have been cleared, so why risk it? Not to mention, like I said, we already had our leads on Belarus. and America* anyway. It was pointless to claim.
