As you've already said, I wouldn't know if I'm the Dead One or not - only Death knows, and that is by far the better role to be hunting for. If I am in fact the Dead One, then lynching me would in fact be optimal for own win-condition, so there's really little need to defend myself at present. When some solid leads begin to emerge, I may begin to address them and explain why I am not the most likely candidate (or why I am, as the situation may dictate), but for the time being, I shall simply drop this purely reactionary post into the sea of posts to come, and leave you with this utterly unrelated rebuttal:

Well, you see, you defended me - so now I want to lynch you to see if you die. Death is lynchproof, so if you survive the lynch, it becomes more likely that you are Death - and if you are, in fact, Death... then the fact that you defended me makes it more likely that I am the Dead One. If I am the Dead One, then I should be lynched - so I want to find out if you are Death.

That's why I'm voting you - and it is also why we are now out of RVS. :p

Well, when you do lynch me, I'll die... so, you're just wasting a lynch. :P

It has begun...

"There is no Calamity!" cried one of the students. "That's a stupid old wives tale!"

"That may be so, but we have to be careful!" cried another, moving her blue hair behind her hair. One of her classmates was attempting to open a window and her hair got caught in the breeze. "It's not just enough to pretend that nothing will happen to us."

Her skeptical classmate replied, "Alright then, do you have any ideas then?"

"Well... I..."

She was cut off by the sound of glass shattering and a bloodcurdling scream. The blue-haired girl whipped around and saw that the classmate who was opening the window had accidentally put her hands directly through it.

She took one horrified look at the shards of glass sticking out from her wrists and the blood shot all the way up to the ceiling. The girl instantly crumpled to the floor, blood spurting like a fountain from both wrists, glass haphazardly littering the floor. Blood splashed onto the uniforms and skin of running students.

Students screamed as they ran. "It's real, it's real, I knew it was real!" cried one. Another doubled over to vomit.

"Jo! Jo!" shrieked the blue-haired girl. She pushed past the running crowd to reach the girl, but slipped on one of the quickly forming puddles of blood, landing hard, headfirst. Dazed, the blue-haired girl looked up only fast enough to see a pair of scissors slipping out of the desk to puncture her directly in the throat.

"SAYAKA!"

What remained of Class 3-3 was told never to speak of what happened again.

The members of Class 3-3 arrived one by one to school the next day. Many of their eyes were red and puffy from crying. Each one of them had a feeling of dread. Which one of their classmates will the calamity claim next?

However, as the school day started, they realized each one of their classmates were accounted for.

"Maybe it's over," one of them said.

Another classmate shook his head. He felt a shiver go through his body.

"No." He said flatly, "it can't be, I have a bad feeling..."

No one was killed.

It is now School Day 2. Phase will end 12/13/12 at 10 PM EST
