The four students sat in their classroom. Jason had his head down on the desk.
"I'm not feeling well.." he moaned, holding his stomach.
"I think we're in hell" Lori said, bitterly She stood up and handed Jason a bottle, containing liquid. "Here, drink this, it always makes me feel better."
Lori turned to the other two students in the class. "This is our life now," she said sadly. "What else can we do?"
The other two students didn't say anything.
Jason dropped the bottle on the floor. He fell to the ground, clutching at his throat. "What did you give me?" he asked Lori.
"Just strawberry so-soda" Lori stammered.
"I'm deathly allergic to strawberries!" Jason lay down on the floor, and was suddenly still.

"This can't be happening!" she shouted, tears running down her face. She was running so fast, she fell tripped down the stairs.
She lay at the bottom of the stairs, her neck broken.

Stephanie stared at Jason's lifeless body and dropped to her knees. What would Bruce say? What would Tim say?
She couldn't save him - or anyone, for that matter.
So she would have to take the initiative. Her eyes widened. There were two of them left - it meant that there was a 50/50% shot of them be*ing the Dead One and responsible for all of the deaths of their fellow classmates.
It didn't matter. She couldn't be the dead one. Besides, she was a transfer student - from Gotham.
"I have to go," she said.
"Don't leave me by myself!"
"I really can't stay." Someone needed to tell Batman about Jason.
She ran from the nearly-empty classroom, almost tripping down a flight of stairs. Thankfully, Steph had excellent reflexes and was able to somersault backwards onto a ledge. Sighing with relief, she tried to come off the ledge but seemed to be stuck - her hair was tangled to a hook in the wall. "No - no, no, please" The struggle caused her to fall off the ledge head-first.
Soulmaster has been killed.

Jack arrived in time to see her crunch down three flights of stairs.
He fell to his knees in shock and then wrapped himself in a fetal position, rocking back and forth.
He knew what the odds were. Stephanie was the last person in his class that was still alive.
