@FinalArcadia; Why not share it with all of us?
got my role. Going to need some time to read the thread though, so if you excuse me...
My life is a nightmare
Well, I guess it's probably pretty obvious what it is anyway, so I guess so. I can commute twice in the game, and I've already used up one of those chances.
How many mafia do you guys think are left? I am guessing there's only one.
I believe there could be 2 more. Most game use a 1 to 3 ratio, that is 1 mafia for every 3 non-mafia.
My life is a nightmare
okay so I was halfway through the flavor text when I realized I was killing the wrong person. So I had to start over. That's why this update took so long. >_>
Something has happened!
An Italian greyhound followed a large, angry-looking German man, muttering curses in his native language as he watched the Americans struggle with something as basic as bayonet training.
He swore at them up and down, yelling in German at the bewildered Americans, wearing rags on their feet, trying to motivate them to do something right for a change.
"This doesn't seem to be working," he seethed at his translator. "Swear at them in English for me."
The translator looked puzzled and winced as he halfheartedly yelled curses at the Americans.
"Come, Azor," the man said to the dog. "Let's go find the General and give him an update. At least the latrines are no longer uphill from the drinking water."
Valley Forge was a dismal, cold place; the men had barely a boot between them, and most had no coat. General Washington sent in requests for basic clothing to Congress daily and was ignored. The men were dispirited, starving, and sick with a smallpox epidemic made worse by the poor sanitation, and there was nothing anyone could do for them.
Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben was just the man Washington had needed to turn the situation around. Apart from improving sanitation, Steuben had brought with him the knowledge of bayonet training and military exercises. Before Steuben arrived at Valley Forge, the men used their bayonets for everything from spearing food to stoking the logs in the fire; all they didn't use their bayonets for was spearing Redcoats.
Despite Steuben's angry German attitude, he found himself fond of the Americans, and he suspected they were fond of him. They listened, they tried, and he had seen a marked improvement in their physical condition since the day he started drilling them.
Azor growled loudly at something on the edge of camp. Steuben hesitated and turned to see the Americans now trying to spear dummies with their bayonets. How they had improved! But he had been sure every man in camp was somewhere training, and he could find no reason to suspect that any of them were trying to make a run for it, but...
He set off, weaving through tents, Azor leading the way. Azor stopped in front of a tent and darted inside, growling loudly. Steuben stuck his head in it and was surprised to find a man dressed in nondescript clothing, holding a rifle affixed with a bayonet, seated calmly on the frozen ground.
"Why are you not in camp?" Steuben demanded in the best English he could muster.
"You are too talented for us to let you continue serving the traitor Washington and his rabble," the man said conversationally, before thrusting his bayonet into Steuben's chest.
Fun fact! Baron von Steuben was actually gay! So the father of the modern US military was a homosexual.
It is now Day 8. Voting is now open and kindly keep in mind what I said last update.
The cop lasted a very long time... Too bad Insanish Danish didn't make it to endgame...
Honesty, I don't suspect either, but I don't have any better ideas...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Sourcandy was suspicious.
I was pretty much expecting that to happen tbh. Great game though, and good luck my remaining Americans!
back to being a non-edible pastry
The way she came here after being subbed in was kind of odd to me. It's much more... active than I've ever seen her.
This is a placeholder vote, so I might change it. But probably not.
Also, when Hitomi was telling us not to be weenies, she specifically said a townie had to sub for Tris79. My vote definitely isn't changing.
