You don't need to know if anything he does or says is to be a friend or because he likes you. Just continue being friendly to him, that'll most likely boost his confidence in talking to you or around you :)Quote:

That happened to me once: Last year in school I liked a guy but I heard from one of the school bullies (but still a nice guy to some people and never talks to me :l) that some other girl I'm friends with likes my crush. Yeah, I know I shouldn't amuse things. It's just one of the last guys I was interested in turned out to be. I didn't really hear much, or what he said about that. So just be myself, and see what happens?
Being yourself is a definite. Never ever try to be someone you're not. You'll drive yourself crazy, and there is a high chance of the other person feeling cheated and lied to if they realize you aren't who you say you are. If they can't accept the real you, then they aren't worth it. They should be able to know everything about you and still care for you regardless. Granted, he should get to know you over time; you don't need to lay everything on the table right away, but don't pretend to be someone your not.Quote:
